@Toibin1 “Are willing”?????? You’re hitching yourself to the wrong wagon here pal. This has stepped from legitimate organic protests into vigilantes hijacking the nation. Who do these lads think they are getting to decide who gets to refuel and who doesn’t.

I have spoken to the protesters today. They are willing to allow 10 loads of fuel out of Whitegate today for emergency services. This could increase tomorrow if there are positive results from the talks today. The government must engage.

@DocKeeperCoach There’s a huge difference with soccer though in that it is a sport that has a presence, history, culture etc in Ireland, and has huge exposure. Any kid that ’leaves’ GAA to play soccer has been playing soccer all their lives. Rugby the same. AFL v different

I don’t think we should ever be mad or angry if a young player moves to AFL from Gaelic. Exponentially more players leave to play soccer and other sports. Why are we so jealous of AFL? Because they’re so professional, the players are paid and looked after better? Cont’d
