@real_seanadams Thank you. I say it was a roast. Not everyone is going to laugh at every joke. It's always been that way. If you don't like it then just move on. Don't take it personally. If Kevin Hart laughed it's his business. He shouldn't have to have permission from the masses.

I know I’m going to catch crap for this but here we go: Was the George Floyd joke during the Kevin Hart roast in bad taste? It depends on who you ask. Personally, I understand why people were offended by it. But I also noticed there was a joke made about Charlie Kirk having a hole in his neck by Pete Davidson during the same roast… and on my timeline at least, I haven’t really seen nearly the same level of outrage over that one. Now to be fair… I’m sure there ARE people upset about the Charlie Kirk joke too. I’m not dismissing that or downplaying anyone else’s experience online. I’m only speaking from what I’ve personally seen across my feed. What I’m getting at is this… If we’re going to make statements about certain jokes being cruel, unnecessary, or crossing the line… then I think we should apply those standards consistently no matter who the target is. Because sometimes it feels less about the actual joke and more about whether people personally like or dislike the person involved. And that goes both ways politically and culturally. I’m not even writing this because I liked either joke. I may do dark humor at times… but recent history death isn’t part of any what I say or do. I at least wait about 10+ years. 😂 That being said… I honestly don’t care enough about either one to be outraged either. What gets exhausting is the constant inconsistency from people. If dark jokes about recent tragedy are wrong… stand on that fully. If roast culture means everybody can get hit… stand on that fully too. Just stay consistent. That’s all I ask from people. 🤷🏽‍♂️
