So so sad to write this. RIP dear Jim. Prof James Scott was a brilliant engaged scholar, surprisingly consistent/persistent in analysis, who married pol science & ethnography in the best way, & who deeply influenced my own thinking/scholarship. Importantly, he was a kind person.

I am proud to work alongside the other independent MPs, I undersigned this letter on behalf of my constituents. We need clear and decisive action to fulfil our obligations as the United Kingdom under international law. I sincerely hope the government pay heed to avoid even more devastation in Gaza.
