It was an absolute pleasure to meet Craig from Coastal Foraging with Craig Evans. Craig recently ran a course to raise some much needed funds for the lifeboat.
Pub landlady Sue (plus friends) getting into the swing of it. Dont forget there's a band on in the White Lion Ferryside at 4, plus the famous (or maybe infamous) Ferryside Lifeboat BBQ. ALL in aid of the lifeboat.
The lifeboat station is open all afternoon along with the gardens. Members of the public will be able to try our kit on, climb on the main lifeboat and have a chat with the crew.
Despite the best efforts of the great British summer, our annual garden crawl is still on! Albeit with a few adjustments to the programme. Looking forward to seeing you all later!!
All set up and looking forward to the Carmarthen River Festival, come and see us in front of the blue building. We've even brought the world's grumpiest Lifeboat Man for your entertainment... @carmarthen@CarmarthenTownC@CarmsWater@Carmjournal
Our friend Coastal Foraging with Craig Evans has just sent us this wonderful message from the inimitable Joanna Lumley.

We’re all volunteers - so every penny goes to keeping the boat on the water
A busy day of training for the crew today. Beginning with an early morning Nav Ex to Carmarthen Quay, where the crew rescued a drowning bird, and ending with some Talus training.
It is with sadness that we yesterday had to say goodbye to one of our longest serving crew members, Ship's Dog, Blue. Blue will be very much missed around the lifeboat station, even though we will now be able to eat our bacon sandwiches in safety. Fair winds and blue sky Blue!!!
