So yeah, I know we've all seen this guy before, but I promise it's different this time. I went back to see how my old assets hold up, and some need a lot of work to get them to the quality I want for the short film. I thought it'd be fun to put a little edit together of that process. I didn't include any actual modeling, because that shit is boring af. Anyway, this asset is ready for production. One step closer. #halo #vfxartist #scifi #3dart #3dsmax

@MrEvil37 @NakaiCanon I think you’re describing the fact that it looks like concept art, which your brain subconsciously associates with HW2 due to its extensive use of it to represent the many Phoenix Logs and mission title screens.

I'm not sure if it was intentional but the Hungry Buzzards story art is very Halo Wars 2 coded.

Interesting. Seems the YouTube version of the latest Campaign Evolved short has some unique angles not seen on other platforms. Wonder why that is?

Just noticed something interesting in the new campaign evolved reel: The hunters shields have engravings of the ancient Sangheili version of the Covenant language from H5. Considering these Covenant are called the Sacristan Order, they may have ties to ancient Sangheili culture.

The Chief is not *technically* a heretic because he does not embrace any religion nor has he explicitly rejected the Covenant religion, but the entire Covenant (besides the Hierarchs) are under the impression that humanity did reject it and that they defile Forerunner relics.

Adding more to my Monitor Pack, added the outer shells from Infinite as an option. Both Despondent Pyre's and Adjutant Resolution's, I think they fit quite nice on the classic monitor. #Halo

@TheSwampKnight @justahaloguy I mean it doesn’t work because he’s saying this is what the galaxy looked like 100,000 years ago, which is not true. The part that’s true is that the Forerunners held power, but their Ecumene looked very different 262,000 years ago vs 100,000.

This is the greatest image in all of Halo. But why? Because this is a view of our galaxy from the Ark - meaning its light predates the firing of the Halo array. This is a snapshot of when the Forerunners still held power 100,000 years ago, and here we are standing on their Ark.

@NakaiCanon This is the first time an Ossoona has been mentioned since Halo: The Flood, right? Given this chronicle takes place on the Infinity, I'm guessing it refers to an SOS that was a former Ossoona, which is cool to see.
