Last minute trip to Morroco. 4 days trekking in the Atlas Mountains over a couple of high passes. Met some lovely people and stayed in small Berber villages. The countryside is barren but beautiful.

Great trip down memory lane in Provence. Walking between St Andre Les Alps, Castellane, Verdon Gorge & Moustiers St Marie. Perhaps a little too hot for walking in the mountains, but views.. incroyable!

Grand day on Beinn Fhada, Kintail. I'd forgotten what a big day this was but the views made up for it. Stil not sure if this is munro round 2 or not..knees might think otherwise!

Great to be back in the hills despite the rather unwintery conditions. Still bloomin cold though.

Nepal. A place close to my heart and never fails to amaze and reset my life. I'll be back....

Hungry midges, blood, sweat, tears and a few tantrums (not just Fergus) = another grand day in the mountains. Maol Chinn-dearg, Glen Shiel.

Couple of grand days away. Sgurr Dhomhnuill in Ardmamurchan, a true classic west coast rugged mountain and then Ben Rinnes near Dufftown for a bit of variety.

Wee week getting my hill mojo back. Started with an approach to Suilven by bike which wasn't a good idea. Cul mor in what seemed a hurricane then Stac Pollaid and today Pap of Glencoe. Fabulous.

This week we say farewell to @bigmartyboy who is retiring from @BroadfordFire. 😢 His professionalism, dedication and caring nature will be missed at incidents by all in the Skye & Raasay district and beyond. Enjoy being pager free & thank you for your service Marty!

I picked up a caman today for the 1st time in about 10 yrs. I'll be sporting a few bruises, hope to walk properly again by Tuesday & even managed a floor dive. All so I can play 1 season with my 14 year old daughter who is rather unimpressed! Super fun! Mon the Garry for 2023!
