@HoosierIsh Just say you want older players. O and by the way. Those younger high school guys were good enough in the past to play. Why not now. Big salary coaches want to conserve that money they getting. They been doing that.

Every college player already cleared the talent threshold coming out of high school. But talent still has to pass through four stages before it becomes winning football: 1️⃣ Physical development: Bigger, stronger, faster 2️⃣ Scheme mastery: Understanding the offense/defense 3️⃣ Program standards: Learning the expectation level 4️⃣ Consistent execution: Proving you can do it every week Most players take a year or two to move through those stages. It’s getting confusing. College coach spends 1or 2 recruiting a kid to one school. He gets another job. And he’s recruiting for another school at the end of the kids decision time. So the kid is supposed to love a different school 😬
