@ydkbatall @Yourhouse42069 @yankeesfan714 @gotrice2024 It’s the same concept. It’s yours when the act of the worker starts making something for the customer, because the intent is to give the customer the item.
English

This gentleman went to get a quick bite to eat, he ordered his sandwich the way he wanted it and when the employee rung him up, he tried to give the cash. The employee became annoyed and told him that due to a system problem, they couldn’t take cash and told him he would be throwing his sandwich away.
The gentleman even said that since it was an issue on their end could he just get the sandwich for free since it’s not his fault they couldn’t accept cash and the employee became even more annoyed and said no.
I have a feeling the employee was annoyed because he knew it was his fault he didn’t let the customer know beforehand what was going on, shouldn’t the employee just let him have the sandwich though?
English

@mike94474486 @yankeesfan714 @Yourhouse42069 @gotrice2024 Why would he not inform him before that they cannot accept cash though, at an establishment that very often has people who pay in cash.
English

@yankeesfan714 @Fiction_Fox @Yourhouse42069 @gotrice2024 Yea, just because you want something at that exact moment. Does not mean that the company, HAS to give you what you want, at that moment.
English

@Julianney18 @joeroganhq Conor has always been a better boxer than Holloway. You don’t want that fight.
English

@joeroganhq Bring it on !👏🏻
Would love to see Holloway pick Conor apart 🤭

@mike94474486 @Yourhouse42069 @yankeesfan714 @gotrice2024 Nobody cares about a handbook, it doesn’t cover every circumstance lmao, just use critical thinking in that situation. If this is risking your job, get a new job.
English

@Fiction_Fox @Yourhouse42069 @yankeesfan714 @gotrice2024 He is not authorized to decide when to and when not to comp a meal. The customer leaving the store without completing payment also likely gets him fired. Probably in their handbook stating all transactions must be complete before the food is handed over.
English

@ydkbatall @Yourhouse42069 @yankeesfan714 @gotrice2024 The sandwich he pays for.
Let me paint a story for you:
You go to a sit down to eat restaurant, you order food, they bring the food, you eat the food. You’re already digesting the food until you pay. Would the food not be yours until after you pay?
English

@Fiction_Fox @Yourhouse42069 @yankeesfan714 @gotrice2024 “His sandwich” how the fuck is it his sandwich?
English

@santos87 @FootbaIl_Tweets Most DB’s get burned on that lmao, Speed has never played DB, he’s just fast. But okay.
English

brother, throwing his sandwich in the trash, and arguing with this man over a singular sandwich is above his pay grade. Just let one sandwich walk; or take the cash and ring it up later. Don’t throw a sandwich away that has already been made because you didn’t notify the guy you didn’t take cash before it was made..
English

@yankeesfan714 @gotrice2024 You don’t get it. You don’t get to dictate what he says he can and cannot do. That’s above his pay grade. If they don’t want to accept cash the don’t have to for whatever their reason is. Entitled behavior is so cringe
English

@gotrice2024 Imagine being this entitled you pull your phone out to record a kid just doing his job and abiding by the rules. Fucking mentally ill assholes
English

@XanthsCreation @cdngoodcitizen1 @gotrice2024 Right; Jimmy John’s is a MASSIVE corp. I really don’t think they’re gonna care about one sandwich, when this builds repor. Giving the man a sandwich for free, does way more good for the company then bad.
English

@87_delta @cdngoodcitizen1 @gotrice2024 He threw the man's food in the trash instead of giving it to him. If a business is having a malfunction and you take the time to drive there they usually just give it to you and say hope to see you again next time. kid threw away a sandwich and a customer. I would never go back.
English

@BayRsrv @dont_be_common @cdngoodcitizen1 @gotrice2024 It doesn’t sound like there is anyone behind him in line. And then you bring up the fact that you made the sandwich and did not notify the guy before hand that they COULD NOT ACCEPT CASH. And that’s why he got it for free. If you tell them before hand, it’s not a big deal.
English

@dont_be_common @87_delta @cdngoodcitizen1 @gotrice2024 Yeah I’m sure the guy making $15 an hour wants to pay for some random guys sandwich. If he gives the sandwich to the guy for free then what stops the people in line behind him from just doing the same exact thing to try and get a free sandwich?
English

Employee did do something wrong, in the eyes of any manager:
A. If the cash system is down, you tell people that BEFORE they order.
B. If you’ve already wasted the ingredients, you might as well give him the sandwich for YOUR mistake.
C. The store owner/general manager, would much rather you take some form of payment for a sandwich you made, then throwing it away, for no gain for the restaurant.
D. This is not that big of a deal, just give him the sandwich for free, for the mistake you made
English

@cdngoodcitizen1 @gotrice2024 Incorrect. He did nothing wrong
You clearly know nothing. Nice try tho
English

@87_delta @gotrice2024 No, the employee cares way too much about his minimum wage job, just give him the damn sandwich, also I feel like a manager would rather you ring it up and take the cash for the restaurant, because you’re just wasting ingredients.
English

@gotrice2024 The employee was correct. He complied with policy.
The customer was either on drugs or just a very immature person

@allor_j @AlisaHavanas @olsen35998 @MagaGrunt1 His balls are in the hand of Netanyahu. Why else would we be in Iran right now?
English

@AlisaHavanas @olsen35998 @MagaGrunt1 No political leader has EVER had the Balls to do what is right, instead of what's easy! That's why!!
