@dysclinic I have long covid and really high complement levels. Although, the complement pathway that is high in my case is Mannose Binding Lectin. The Lectin pathway isn't really associated with antibodies but it definitely can cause excess damage.

I see many patients with #LongCOVID who have elevated complement levels. When I ask my rheumatology colleagues about this finding, they tell me it's "non-specific" because only low, not high, levels matter as markers of autoimmune disorders. The research findings explained by @VirusesImmunity fit nicely with my clinical observations.

A case of a patient with POTS, HSD, anxiety and other comorbidities who didn't respond to any standard psychiatric treatments, but responded very well to a beta blocker, neuropathic pain medication and a stimulant. Trump supporters, led by Ben Shapiro, are pushing to pardon Derek Chauvin, who was convicted of killing George Floyd. A big flag: Chauvin cannot be pardoned for state crimes. Chauvin will still be in prison if Trump acts. And the 22.5-year state conviction is a longer sentence than the federal case.
