Female Canadian Boomers back the Liberals over the Conservatives by more than 6 to 1. 74% vs 12%. Why do they hate their grandkids this much?

Today, Russia sentenced Ukrainian teenagers to years of imprisonment. Viktor Azarovskyi — 8 years and 6 months. Oleh Shokol — 7 years and 6 months. Denys Vasylyk — 7 years. Children from an occupied territory were accused of “terrorism” and tried as citizens of the Russian Federation. On March 19, 2026, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don delivered its verdict against three teenagers from the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol. At the time of their detention in the fall of 2023, they were only 16–17 years old. For more than two years, they were unlawfully held in inhumane conditions, subjected to beatings, torture, and psychological pressure. hey were transferred between multiple detention facilities, including Detention Center No. 2 in Mariupol and Detention Center No. 2 in Taganrog, which is known for the severe abuse of Ukrainian civilians and prisoners of war. According to Viktor Azarovskyi’s lawyer, his health significantly deteriorated in Taganrog: he was unable to sleep or eat, and his hands were covered in severe skin lesions. Despite the unlawful transfer of the teenagers from occupied territory and the questionable nature of the evidence, Russia brought serious charges against them. The trial was held behind closed doors, without access for independent observers or international organizations. This is not justice. This is the persecution of children and a war crime. Russia systematically uses unlawful detention, torture, and sham trials as tools of pressure against Ukrainian children, in violation of international humanitarian law. That is why the return of every Ukrainian child remains an unconditional priority for Ukraine. #BringKidsBack

Acceptance is growing in Europe for Canada🇨🇦 to join the European Union🇪🇺. Guy Verhofstadt🇧🇪: "There is no reason why EU membership should be off the table [for Canada]." Jean-Noël Barrot🇫🇷: "And maybe Canada at some point." Johann Wadephul🇩🇪: "I am open for Canada."

@mhmck The US would almost certainly respond with strong opposition, economic pressure, & diplomatic maneuvering, potentially escalating into retaliation. A serious Canadian push toward EU membership would be seen as a direct threat to American strategic, economic, & security interests.

@JimChuong I'm Russian and get into the USA with no issues. Also, I've traveled around the world a lot myself, and agree that Canadians are probably the least friendly and polite people I've come across. That stereotype of friendly Canadians probably stemmed from Canada back in the 80's.

Canadians are unhappy all the time because they’re broke. As a Canadian, my travels to the U.S. have had no issues. Anyone that says otherwise is lying - they don’t know. Americans are 100% friendlier, and more tolerant than Canadians right now. It’s not even close.

@JimChuong I agree with your observations, but not your explanation: I don't think Canadians have more financial stress than Americans do. Canadians are unhappy because of 15 million Indians. Nothing works properly any more; everything is a hassle, and if you notice, you're called a racist

@Microinteracti1 The United States has spent Approx. 188 Billion on the Ukraine war, is that not support? is that not the USA being involved in the defense of Ukraine?

Europe told Trump and Vance, clearly and seriously, that Russia’s war against Ukraine and its hybrid warfare campaign across the continent represents the greatest security threat Europe has faced since 1945. Europe said this as a NATO ally. As a partner of seven decades. As a bloc that has housed American bases, funded American adventures, and sent its sons to die in American wars without much complaint. Trump and Vance looked at this and said: not our problem. It’s happening on your continent. We have important things to attend to. The important things turned out to be nothing. There were no important things. There was golf, there was television, and there was a remarkable amount of time spent being angry about things on the internet. Then, approximately some months later, the same administration announced it intended to seize Greenland. A sovereign territory. From a NATO ally. By force if necessary. So to summarise: defending Europe from an actively invading nuclear power is not America’s problem. Illegally annexing a Danish island in the Arctic is apparently a matter of urgent national interest. Now. If anyone in the MAGA universe is sitting there expecting Europe to provide diplomatic cover, logistical support, intelligence sharing, or a single sympathetic press release for whatever America is currently doing in the Middle East, I have some news for you. You told us you weren’t our allies. We were listening. You don’t get to turn the alliance on and off depending on which direction the aggression is pointing. That is not how it works. That is not how any of this works. Europe will not be helping. Europe will be watching. You made that bed. Enjoy it. Stay connected, Follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1

Right now, there are 201 Ukrainians in the Middle East and the Gulf region. And another 34 are ready to deploy. These are military experts, experts who know how to help, how to defend against “shahed” drones. Our teams are already in the Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and on the way to Kuwait. We are working with several other countries – agreements are already in place. We do not want this terror of the Iranian regime against its neighbors to succeed. And I sent these military experts at the request of our partners – including the United States. In fact, this is part of the Drone Deal we proposed to the United States, which we worked on together and which is still on the table. And we are ready to offer similar deals to all our reliable partners – from practical cooperation on drones to future defense alliances. And I don’t think anyone would want to leave Ukraine’s war-proven strength and capability outside their security. If someone does, it wouldn't be wise. The United Kingdom sees these opportunities clearly – our agreements are always solid, and I’m glad that today we have signed a declaration with the Prime Minister. Thank you very much, Keir. From my address to the Parliament of the United Kingdom (1/7)

If you are serious about saving Canada, the following needs to occur: 1. Every province must secede from the current dysfunctional confederation of Canada. 2. Every province must become a sovereign state with its own constitution. After that, each individual state can negotiate a new confederation without Ottawa as the central player. Alberta is on the right track.

Lately, it feels like we’re being pushed to focus on everything that divides us. But if you strip away the noise, the truth is simple: we all love this country. 🇨🇦 Drop a 🍁 if you’re proud to be Canadian today. Let’s fill the feed with some unity. We share the same backyard, the same resilience, and the same 'True North' spirit. I feel a deep sense of gratitude every single day to call this place home, and I know I’m not the only one. Let’s stop looking for reasons to be apart and start remembering why we stand together. Let’s bring back that shared pride.

It is not allowing other nations to plunder our treasury through bad trade, NGO fraud, "foreign aid" in exchange for loyalty or endlessly paying for others' defense. It is not having weak leaders who allow others to rape our nation and leave out cities rusty, poor crime farms. I would much prefer going down as a global hegemon to allowing our nation be castrated, plundered and raped by the eunuchs of Europe and the wolves of the rest of the world, and to surrender our national sovereignty to Globalists.
