@jowrotethis We need to talk about this guy honestly at some point. Like, he had this nice little cameo thing going for a while which was wonderful but he does not have the juice he thinks he has. Wild wild look at me intensity is not good acting. It’s kind of awful and has been for a while.

If Jon Bernthal was trying to prove something in co-writing THE BEAR and PUNISHER specials, he definitely did. Just not what he intended.

Does anybody over the age of 3 actually take 'baths' anymore? It seems to me that the bathtub is on the fast track to becoming extinct like the VCR, 8-track tapes, and rotary phones.

Asked by @CelliniNick about a possible extension for Hawks HC Quin Snyder, Steve Koonin made it clear where the organization stands. “I think Quin is going to be part of our team for a very, very long time.”

Stephen A Smith goes in on Jaylen Brown comments on Joel Embiid flopping: “Here’s why it’s an awful look for him. You getting paid over $300M. You were a MVP candidate. You were up 3-1 in this series. Did you say anything when you were up 3-1? No you didn’t…. That is not why the Celtics lost. They lost because they live and die by the 3 and they play dumb basketball down the stretch”
NBA Courtside@NBA__Courtside

Jason Williams calls out Jaylen Brown for getting on twitch and calling Embiid a flopper: “You just lost in game 7. We know that Joel Embiid flops. We get it.. it feels like it’s about excuses and that’s not who Jaylen Brown is. He said a lot of great things during that stream, but that one thing, he shouldn’t have said”

Hilary Swank doesn’t really act much these days - hell, she hasn’t really acted much since winning her second Oscar for Million Dollar Baby. It’s not a criticism of Swank because she’s free to do as she chooses, obviously. But I wish she acted more. She’s excellent. A great actor

Before too much more time passes, I just wanted to say thank you to the thousands of Hawks fans here and around the globe that tuned in to our broadcasts this season. You all are the reason we do this. I know it was a rough ending, but this team is headed in the right direction. They will learn from this. Thanks again from all of us: Nique, Madison, Matt, Brian, Jil, Maceo and the entire broadcast group.

Does Quin Snyder deserve to be FIRED after a historic 51-point playoff loss? "I don't know how you defend what he did over the last 3 games... you can't fire the whole team, but you can fire the coach... aside from that run where they went 20–5 late in the season, Quin Snyder has not paid dividends... someone's got to pay the price." - @CelliniNick #TrueToAtlanta @chrisdimino

Back then, AIC wasn’t seen as part of the “pure” Seattle scene. There was a lot of high school-level coolness testing going on. AIC was seen by a lot of people as outside the scene — too metal, former glam look, played suburban VFW halls, opened for Van Halen, etc. Of course, they always kicked ass.

Dave Grohl admitted that he slept on Alice in Chains in the ’90s, crediting his daughters for sparking his “newfound love” of the band. “Here’s the best thing about driving around with [my daughters] Violet and Harper in a car: I have this newfound love of Alice in Chains. It’s back. They’re like my favorite band now. They should have been 35 years ago, but now I’m like, ‘Wait, where was I on that one?’” consequence.net/2026/04/dave-g…

Jon Hamm is a perfectly adequate actor who was cast in the perfect part. As a result he's kind of been overrated. He was pretty charming in the FLETCH movie, average in most other things, and downright bad in RICHARD JEWELL. Eastwood famously only gives actors 1-2 takes and boy was Hamm exposed.
