The reason #Tezos went down this week was because Wall Street went down due to the jobs report and more tariffs. Everything went down. Don't think of it having gone from a dollar to .75. It's from .50 to .75. Still a pretty damn good month.

The only chart that matters for seeing how $XTZ is doing and removing the noise is: Tezos Market Cap / Total Market Cap, excluding the Top 10 coins. Reaching 2022 levels is 4x from here and should be a reasonable target given all the recent positive developments like @etherlink, @uranium_io, etc. Making new lows in light of those developments and in spite of the latest regulatory tailwinds would be catastrophic and a red flag IMO. With banks, Wall St, and other financial institutions finally getting the crypto regulatory greenlight in the US, winners are going to start being chosen by Main Street investors and not just the historical crypto players.

@FifaFloeten You're kind of missing the point - you make money when a project goes from A to B, not by being the "best". Even if it's a high performing asset, if you get in late, your returns will be paltry. It's a pretty basic concept that a lot of people don't seem to understand. 😅

Tezos moving independently is good, mostly because of this. Even if it goes down a lot tomorrow, the FUD itself will cut through the noise, and more people will look it up out of curiosity. When they do, will they see something different and interesting? Of course. That's what we want - the seed gets implanted, and they may decide to get some on their next purchase. Most people I talk to have no idea that XTZ even exists. We're starting from a blanks slate here.

10x is still 10x. If your stock is worth a penny and it goes up to 10 cents, your returns are still 1000%. It's weird to me how people seem to flock to bigger chains, then wonder later why they're only making like a few bucks here and there. The bigger the project, the less you tend to make for yourself. 🤷
