@Fifecollege Sports Coaching Conference 2026  ⚖️ Theme: Rebalance ⚖️  Through our keynote presentation, esteemed guest speakers, and engaging practical demonstrations, we aim to explore how we can maximise opportunity and use sport as a powerful tool to level the playing field.

To broaden learners' awareness and understanding of current industry trends, our lecturers organised a mini Hyrox event. Participating in this activity helps contextualise's their learning, showing how training methods can be adapted to better capture clients' motivations.

In partnership with @thesmf, and as part of their unit on exercise prescription, our HND Health, Exercise and Fitness students delivered a community intervention to a specialised population group at Abbeyview bowling club, Dunfermline. #Communitycollege#sportingmemories

Earlier this week guests Dave and Ian from Saline First Responders kindly volunteered to educate our learners on first response. This included some practical demons which assisted the learners with their First Aid unit. Everyone left feeling more confident in their own abilities!

This week we had Tony in to present to learners in our @fifecollege Access to College courses. He delivered a first aid education and demo session to the students. Tony was incredible, we were delighted to learn from his experience and have him share his vast knowledge with us.

Last week, we hosted Jamie from the Fife Sport and Leisure Trust, who gave a talk to our HND fitness, health & exercise learners regarding the significance of exercise referrals. Following this, he led all of the students through the Falls Prevention workshop. 🏋️‍♀️
