The Broncos have never kept more than five receivers on the initial 53-man roster under Sean Payton. 2023 (4): Sutton, Jeudy, Mims, Johnson 2024 (5): Sutton, Mims, Franklin, Reynolds, Vele 2025 (5): Sutton, Mims, Franklin, Bryant, Sherfield As of right now, Denver has six receivers (Sutton, Waddle, Mims, Franklin, Bryant and Humphrey) who are all startable players. It will be interesting to see if they keep all six or if there is an odd-man out before or after preseason.

#Broncos did express interest in RB Travis Etienne but reported $13M per is crazy. Good for him and Broncos old agent friend Kennard McGuire (who did wonders with young WR Brandon Marshall back in the day) but remember: J.K. Dobbins is a strong locker-room guy, was big-time mentor to RJ Harvey and was better rusher than Etienne (5.0 ypc to 4.3) when healthy. Obviously Dobbins hasn’t been as durable. Oh and he’s he’s not re-signed yet.
