@LakerFanYT I quit when they nerfed moving shots from 3 but not because it was the only way I could score but shot creating in general is my playstyle and it killed all the creativity in it for me only shooting standstill shots from 3

I think there’s a couple roadblocks here A. Wastes people’s money, whereas rivals every character is free to pick up and put down at will. B. People are too prideful. They get literally offended and quit when their overpowered style gets nerfed lool

Do you think gameplay later in the 2k cycle gets stale strictly because there’s no gameplay changes? Rivals gets resurgences because metas come and go, and some people’s characters get their moment of shine periodically. I get that we all want consistency and to compete, but I certainly get tired of playing the same gameplay for more than 5 months straight. Just my take.

I've been investing in layup on my builds recently, like this new SGA-ish build. Only 85 layup, Only 25 strength. Making some pretty crazy layups, even contact layups pretty easily. Layups are fun and creative. You can pick which type of layup you want to do and which hand to finish with, you can bail out with high pass acc, and get more creative, but they're worse than dunks 100%. Scoops are hard to time, animations are generally slower than explosive dunks, layups get more easily contested, and dunks are cheaper and easier to cap break. I haven't found any good layup cap breakers for tall guards. So dunk wins for efficiency in the builder, and you may be making your build worse going layup over dunk this year. But although Layup's may be worse and more expensive, it allows for more creativity and diversity in your gameplay. Something people could use a lot more of this year. #NBA2K26

Main reason besides cheating is you can get 2 xbox controllers that make it feel like latency doesn’t exist.

Might be a hot take but I'd love some new games instead of remakes in the Unreal Engine so there's basically no modding capabilities and it's left with horrible stuttering and abandoned like Oblivion Remastered
