I think right-wing people are especially prone to being frustrated by noble lies, by situations where everyone knows X but can't say it out loud, etc
I don't think it was always the case that the right would attract this personality type

@FiftyShots @benmaritz I was 18 in 1984 and lived in Eugene OR and did the same math with the Sunday classifieds from the San Francisco Chronicle/examiner and the Seattle Times/PI. Seattle came out on top then too. The numbers were smaller on both sides of the equation, 3.85 per hour and 199 per month

It would be terrible. A huge proportion of women would not be able to find mates, they would end up bitter & then take out their bitterness on the world. Anything outside a 50/50 ratio is a recipe for trouble.

Of course, I don’t approve of this negativity toward men. It’s repulsive But the effect of having a gender skew toward female might be positive. Is there a reason to believe we wouldn’t all be happier with, say, 55% women and 45% men?
