If your bad guys don't pose and actual threat you take away the good guys' chance to do something heroic. That's why you give them scenes where they flex what advantage they have (overwhelming resources for frontal assaults). We're missing this nowadays.
The Late Knight Show@Knightly_Hist

The flanderisation of stormtroopers pisses me off. In their first ever onscreen appearance they clear a hallway of enemy soldiers, taking minimal casualties, with a full frontal assault. So much can be inferred about their equipment and skillset here.

@VengazaVerde1 Additionally, the woman admitted to holding the baby in the front seat while the car was in motion, which already risks its life. Needs to be in a baby car seat in the back for safety.

@VengazaVerde1 The risk of life doesn’t come from stealing the diapers themselves; it’s from fleeing police and endangering lives with a vehicle. If you stop, talk to the police and clear the situation up, there’s no danger.

Why do police start pulling the trigger when people hop into vehicles and flee the scene? It’s because cars can be deadly, and more lives can be lost if they don’t stop the drivers from doing something stupid. Perfect example: youtu.be/oPGqUOVQJR8

Funny how this triggered so many people to block me. Seriously, if the woman paid for the diapers, and the whole thing is just a misunderstanding, why not show the police the proof and NOT endanger lives by attempting vehicular homicide? Sounds like there was 0 reason to escalate
Figuratively Literal@FigurativelyLit

@HorrorGorl Okay, why not just show the cops the receipt?

I've gotten over a million engagements during this pay period, but the cutoff was on Tuesday, and nearly half of my engagements were over the past two days, so that means I won't get paid for those until the end of the next pay period which pays out on on July 3.

@birdelaire Israel also doesn’t like people risking babies’ lives recklessly when a peaceful, cooperative conversation could have resolved things? I mean, that doesn’t sound bad to me.

@californiabarby There are lots of bodycam videos you can watch on YouTube. Things typically only get violent when people refuse to cooperate with the cops. Things like running or attempting to flee in a vehicle are asking for trouble. Just be calm and behave yourself. youtu.be/uj0mtxXEGE8

Walmart is a company valued at ONE TRILLION DOLLARS and some overzealous ass manager in Senatobia called the cops over a pack of diapers worth what, $25, $30? And they were paid for? Now a baby is dead. Calling the cops is a death sentence and they know this.

@dvigilrpg The version I’m getting from them is: - Woman prepaid for diapers - Went to pick them up - Walmart called the cops - The cops shot a baby in cold blood When questioned what happened between the cops being called and the baby being shot, they do ad hominem attacks and block.

You know why these people are locking their replies? Because they know what they are saying are nothing but lies. But they have to keep the grift. The women stole from Walmart, hit a car, then tried to run over a police officer. They didn't give 2 shits about that baby. Fuck them.
Heidi N. Moore@moorehn

So the officer knew the baby was in the passenger seat and shot through the windshield on purpose. IDF tactics. He should not only be suspended but also imprisoned for life. We cannot become Israel, with idiotic fascist racists murdering children. My heart breaks for this mother. That sweet baby, targeted by a psychopath.

@denimbongripper Damn, dude. She didn’t get shot at for not showing her receipt. She got shot because, *instead* of doing that, she chose to flee and drive her car at an officer. You *have* to be intentionally pretending not to understand that part.

@FurryOswald The risk from law enforcement was due to the attempted vehicular homicide. And the woman allegedly did that because she didn’t want to answer questions about whether or not she paid for the diapers. That’s the sad part about the whole thing.
