#InLovingMemory 🖤 It is with profound sadness, we mourn the loss of a remarkable leader in gynecologic oncology, Professor Giovanni Scambia, whose unwavering dedication, exceptional surgical expertise, and deep commitment to mentorship have left an indelible mark in our field. A gifted surgeon, a compassionate healer, and an inspiring teacher, Giovanni Scambia was more than a physician—he was a guiding light for countless patients, colleagues, and trainees. His skill in the operating room was matched only by his boundless generosity in sharing knowledge, shaping the next generation of gynecologic oncologists, and pushing the boundaries of our field to improve the lives of women facing cancer. Beyond his technical brilliance, Professor Scambia embodied the very essence of leadership—always advocating for excellence in patient care, fostering innovation and research, and elevating those around him. His contributions will live on in the advancements he championed, the surgeons he trained, and the countless lives he touched. Though we grieve his passing, we also celebrate his extraordinary legacy. His passion, wisdom, and humanity will continue to inspire us, guiding our work and reminding us of the profound impact one life can have on so many. @pedroramirezMD @HsuMd @JayrajAarthi @AndreFernandes2 @IGCSociety @ESGO_society @ENYGO_official @OncoAlert @IJGCfellows @GynMe4 @thomasbartlMD @kfischermd @claritasantia @stephjeangill @MMontesinos_Alb @braunchristian1 @mattmarchettiMD @yates_elisemann @jhgelissen
