I will say i think the relatability of guys like Rodgers, Farve, and more so Giannis (because of the humble beings, love for the city, etc.), i wonder if that would hinder the local figure-ness/status of someone like Chourio who isn’t from the country and doesn’t speak too much English (or just speak it to a level he feels comfortable with). Like i think if Yelich is playing semi-ok and they win a World Series, he leap frogs to very close to the top just because of the brand that is Yelich
