I got my 6th Covid vaccine today, the batshit crazy conspiracy theorists have told me it’s a gene therapy 😂 that will turn me into one of the Lizard people 🦎. They demand I use invermectin that is actually a horse dewormer 🐎 from a Veterinarian. Still waiting for the vaccine apocalypse when Bill Gates is going to send me windows updates through 5G cell towers hope I don’t crash on the way home. 😂 I have chosen to believe in the general consensus of medical experts, Doctors and ignore right wing MAGA propaganda that the vaccine is more deadlier than covid because that type of thinking is irrational and outright crazy. Love vaccines ❤️

@alexanderswift @DanielBleakley @jolauder Honestly this is becoming a wall of text, but I can go on & on. My utilities integrates with my Tesla charger (not all chargers are supported), and handles off-peak charging for me. They give me $10 a month to do this. The car knows my calendar, and plots nav automatically.

@alexanderswift @DanielBleakley @jolauder And really, just the QOL features it has. No service required, integration with Tesla Solar, Powerwall and Supercharging network. 360° dashcam, with the ability to view at any time on the app. As well as the ability to summon the car (which I do sometimes at work).

"I can do my entire work commute for like five to 10 bucks a week … it's ridiculously cheap." "I'm basically saving, between petrol and servicing, $5,500 to $6,000 a year," Fantastic story here from @jolauder abc.net.au/news/2024-03-1…

@FairiMairi @1NewsNZ The higher tobacco taxes were designed to get people off cigarettes. And so was the ban. Removing the ban, reducing the taxes, increases revenue for both the government and tobacco companies, because more people would likely buy them. All these things can exist at the same time.

@MossmanSimon @0_loki_0 @NapierinFrame The OECD publishes this, but yeah, it's the reason why other developed countries have better infrastructure than NZ does. Besides the whole issue of small population spread out over the size of the UK+

@SayingItOK @OfMalakai @kiwigolfrentals The process of, a multi-billion dollar pseudo-government doing what it can freely do, protected by a Permanent Security Council vote and 11 fleet carriers? What authority, grounds, or even power do you have to tell them what to do? NZ can't even respect judicial precedent.

@FilmFlic @OfMalakai @kiwigolfrentals That may “mean” (whatever that means) to you but what you’re failing to acknowledge is that the OFFICIAL name is New Zealand, until is OFFICIALLY changed to something else. Proper process needs to be respected & followed.

@Hayden461805541 @nzlabour It would be, since there's not a single one that's ever made a profit. But if you think it's a good idea. Grab some investors and make some money.

The economy has turned a corner with confirmation out today that shows New Zealand was never in a recession, and growth was stronger than expected in the June quarter. The economy is now 7.7 percent bigger than at the start of the pandemic. The latest figures show our economic plan is working. We know this doesn’t change the reality on the ground for lots of New Zealanders doing it tough. But we’re building a stronger economy that works for everyone, and supports our families and businesses in good times and bad.

@Bluebird262626 @KeepingMum It's almost as if trying to combat inflation and cutting all spending has consequences for economic growth. Right now, we're dependent on overseas markets to stimulate the economy.

@KeepingMum “The International Monetary Fund, in its latest Regional Economic Outlook, predicts that next year the New Zealand economy will have the second-lowest growth of the 159 nations it surveys, with the only worse country being Equatorial Guinea.” Your response Dita?
