According to the bank, the vehicles were carrying about $40 million, €35 million and 9 kg of gold. They were traveling in transit from Austria to Ukraine. GPS data reportedly shows the vehicles are now in central Budapest near one of Hungary’s security agencies. Hungarian authorities have not yet provided an official explanation.
