Gaza flotilla detainees have been taken to Israel. 3 Finns are among them. @Ulkoministerio is in contact with Israeli authorities and offers consular assistance to our nationals. @FinIsrael seeks to visit them. We expect 🇮🇱 to ensure their safety and respectful treatment.

Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day begins at sundown on 13 April and ends at nightfall on 14 Apr 2026. Ceremonies will be held in the country to remember and honour the 6 million who perished in the Holocaust. We have the responsibility to remember.

Yesterday, Amb Nina Nordström visited with a delegation Beit Shemesh, where, an Iranian warhead hit a synagogue, killing 9 civilians. It has been so far the deadliest beside the hits, incl. by cluster munitions, to the central cities of Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan and Givatayim.
