@JamieMetzl It says a lot that you felt the need to add such a lengthy preamble disclaimer before stating your opinion. Worried about getting attacked by your own side for sharing a centrist view?

I am a Democrat. I served in the Clinton administration. I did not vote for Donald Trump and am highly unlikely to support him or his acolytes in the future. I also have serious disagreements with many of the Trump administration’s domestic and foreign policies.
But it is profoundly disturbing that a growing segment of the far left appears to be almost rooting for Hamas, Hezbollah, the Iranian regime, and other forces fundamentally opposed to the United States and our allies. This seems to reflects a corrosive strain of anti-Americanism, dressed up in postcolonial theory, that risks blinding us to the moral realities of our world and the nature of our adversaries.

@pronounced_kyle Definitely down for board games some time! Big fan of wingspan and many others.

Anybody in SF wanna play Twilight Imperium?
I'm down to teach. It's a ~6 hour commitment for your first game, but incredibly worth it.

@SabatinoMasala Also the advantage of using --docker is you can easily access those extra containers from the host. I use this to have a shared web server that both the host and yolobox can access together.
English

What I usually do is use the --docker flag to give yolobox ability to manage sibling containers. That way updating yolobox doesn't need to rebuild the extra stuff and you have focused extra containers for each service. I'll think more about this. If that doesn't work for you, could you please create an issue describing how you'd like this to work? I'll think about solutions. Thanks!

Thanks for fixing my biggest frustration with Docker Sandboxes @finbarr! yolobox claude --claude-config

@bchesky the new airbnb.com default to services tab seems really off. My guess is most people are not looking for services. Also if you choose your dates then realize you're on the wrong tab and switch to homes, it clears the dates 🤷♂️

@ivanburazin @bryan_johnson what do you think of this routine? Good enough for all of us?

I'm flying across continents at least 2x every week.
Every time I land, I get IV drips to keep me going.
Order it on the plane. Land. Get to hotel. 10 minutes later, nurse at the door. Plug in IV with water, salt, zinc, vitamin C, NAD.
NAD almost makes me want to throw up while I'm getting it. But it does the job.
Half hour later: good to go!
Would die without it haha.

Harry Potter is extremely overrated as a Quidditch player. Here are the facts:
First, he has an equipment advantage.
Year 1: he didn't even try out. McGonagall just put him on the team. Then he gets a Nimbus 2000 while everyone else is on discount, budget, school-issued brooms
Year 3: Harry's Nimbus 2000 gets destroyed by the Whomping Willow and he gets a Firebolt. Once again, he has an equipment advantage
Second, he misses too many games. The best ability is availability. Harry played in 9 Quidditch games at Hogwarts. Gryffindor had 13 games during that time. Harry missed 31% of his team's games
Now, let's look at Gryffindor's record with and without Harry
Book 1: Harry plays the first two games and misses the last one (infirmary). Team goes 2-1. He's 2-0 in games he plays
Book 2: Harry plays one game, last two get canceled. Team is 1-0
Book 3: the ONLY season Harry plays all three games. Gryffindor goes 2-1
Book 4: no Quidditch (Triwizard Tournament)
Book 5: Harry plays one game, attacks Malfoy, banned for life. Ginny steps in. Gryffindor wins the cup anyway
Book 6: Harry plays first two games, misses the last one. Gryffindor wins the cup anyway
Book 7: Harry is hunting Horcruxes with Ron and Hermione. Does not appear that Quidditch was played while school was under control of Death Eaters
In the 4 games Harry missed, Gryffindor went 2-2. Not great, but they survived without him
It's simple. Harry Potter is a great wizard. But as a Quidditch player? He's wildly overrated. You could argue that there are several people better than Harry at Quidditch: Victor Krum, Charlie Weasley, Cedric Diggory, Ludo Bagman, Ginny Weasley, Eunice Murray, Hamish McFarland
Also, it's been decades since Harry Potter played Quidditch. The game is much faster now. There are more analytics. The players are more athletic. Even the coaching is different
Let's stop hyping Harry as a Quidditch player
