@iamcoriarnold I'm not sure if that means yes or no? If you dont know you could check your analytics dashboard. It breaks down your stats post by post.

@Arc_insanity @DudeWhoInvests Can you post the math and official numbers that say that? Because it sounds like bullshit.
English

@FindleysFinance @DudeWhoInvests Thats just the scraps. building contractors are not getting 1% of the money trading hands from Nvidea > AI > Server farm > Nvidea loop.
English

Because this is the MASSIVE investment in AI…

unusual_whales@unusual_whales
"Massive investment in AI contributed basically zero to US economic growth last year," per Goldman Sachs
English

Meta is spending on AI infrastructure just like OpenAI, there are two massive differentiators between the two.
- Meta is spending its own hard-earned organic cashflows to expand their AI Capex.
- OpenAI is operating on what wall street likes to call OPM (Other People’s Money).
This means Meta has much less risk than OpenAI does when it comes to funding.
Secondly, Meta is building AI to increase monetization, strength, longevity, and efficiency for its core business model aka, ads.
OpenAI, on the other hand, is trying to make AI its core business model, which is a hyper competitive landscape where Google and Anthropic are both eating their market share at a lower cost.
English

@amktparticipant True, and honestly they shouldn't have ever been that low. That is probably a large reason for the massive price increases and now a lock in effect.
English

@FindleysFinance I think they'll be lowered, but not lowered like they were. The days of 3% are long gone.
English

What do you think the long term implications of this housing legislation will be?
'Very confident' interest rates will be lowered: William Pulte search.app/mLGWo
English

@LukeGromen Better hope the IRGC continues to accelerate their own demise then.
English

@Kalshi They are trying to monetize debt every way possible.
English

It's actually quite simple. If the threat is eliminated, there will be no need for increased posture long term. This is just retard logic. When terror in the region stops, the terror tax on oil will go away.

@InvestInAssets Also, I'll add Charlie Munger for the philosophy behind investing.
English

@InvestInAssets If you are a retail investor and wanted to know which one of these to start with, as a passive investor or value investor, study Warren Buffett. If you want to understand the logic and common sense of value to growth, choose Peter Lynch. They will teach you the most.

@theallinpod @Jason Where will that 50% increase cost per engineer come from? Margin compression? Or compensation packages?
English

Jensen Huang: “If that $500,000 engineer did not consume at least $250,000 worth of tokens, I'm going to be deeply alarmed.”
The Nvidia CEO expects his highly paid engineers to be spending at least HALF their salaries on tokens to supercharge their abilities.
@Jason:
“ The conversation we've had on the pod a number of times is, ‘Oh my God, look at the token usage in our companies.’ It is growing massively.”
“And some people are asking, ‘Hey, when I join a company, how many tokens do I get? Because I want to be an effective employee.’”
“You've postulated, I believe, $75,000 in tokens for each engineer, something like that.”
“So are you spending, at Nvidia, $1 billion, $2 billion on tokens for your engineering team right now?”
Jensen:
“We're trying to.”
“Let me give you the thought experiment: Let's say you have a software engineer or AI researcher and you pay them $500,000 a year. We do that all the time.”
“That $500,000 engineer, at the end of the year, I'm going to ask them, how much did you spend in tokens?”
“If that person said, ‘$5,000,’ I will go ape… something else.”
“If that $500,000 engineer did not consume at least $250,000 worth of tokens, I'm going to be deeply alarmed.
“And this is no different than one of our chip designers who says, ‘Guess what? I'm just going to use paper and pencil, I don't think I'm going to need any CAD tools.’”
Jason:
“This is a real paradigm shift, to start thinking about these all-star employees, it almost reminds me of what we learned in the NBA when LeBron James started spending a million dollars a year just on his health and his body, like in maintaining it. Here he is at age 41, still playing.”
“These are incredible knowledge workers. Why wouldn't we give them superhuman abilities?”
English

@theallinpod @Jason Okay, but how does this not just increase the cost per engineer? Where will that 50% increased cost come from? Compensation packages?
English

@Kalshi We need to teach people to be beneficiaries of capitalism rather than subjects of it. If we dont, meritocracy and capitalism will continue to lose support. We have a massive culture and education problem in the west.
English

@crashaftercrash Of course. But acceptance isnt a solution its a worsening of the problem.
English

@FindleysFinance It was never a peaceful region. There are always fights between Jews and Arabs and between Arabs. I think it would help a lot if old school politicians would go forever. But we have this problem everywhere.
English

This is so insanely disingenuous. They report the oil problem as if its due to the conflict. In reality, Iran isnt retaliating, they are targeting commercial infratructure to terrorize the global markets. In doing so, they have turned nearly every country in the region against them.

English

@crashaftercrash Interesting. Why not? And I guess more interestingly, what do you think it would take and do you think its a step in the right direction?
English

@FindleysFinance I’m not sure that once Iran is under control we have peace there.
English

@kvnnagy @stats_feed @stock_unlock @PronkDaniel Ah, you can also check out my website. It's more educational but I have a bunch of tools in there too. It's called findleysfinance.com/dashboard
Maybe something on there could help with ideas.

@FindleysFinance Engage in within your niche… once you start playing around with random accounts algorithm gets confused ☝️
English

@martyyyn_s Grok isnt helping either hahaha. Grok tells me to reply less but then original posts for small accounts dont see much traction. I'm nowhere near giving up, just a little confused about how x works.

@FindleysFinance Don’t fight it… continue with quality post and you will get rewarded ✌️

@ramit If she's spending it rather than buying assets then she might be rich living with no wealth. Not sure if that's the case but based on her language it seems quite possible.
