@StormslayerDev There is only one game left to decompile (if they decide to do which I absolutely think they should) is Jak X Combat Racing, last game that used the GOAL Programming Language, should absolutely have support for this with Online Multiplayer. Maybe they can decompile the netcode?

Jak 3 has been natively decompiled!
OpenGOAL is a decompilation of the game for PC that adds high framerate support, high resolution support and modding natively to the PC.
To celebrate I've hand restored the cover art to 4K UHD and made two wallpapers, 20:9 for your phone and 16:9 for desktop! Enjoy!

Still getting Halo to run on random stuff. This time I did a soft mod for Android Auto and got MCC and other games to run on my car.
Nothing like air-conditioning and a recliner while playing some Halo on the go.
Definitely some Lag while playing probably can work it out.

Got my Galaxy Watch 4 to run Halo, Well kind of lol. Quality is surprisingly good given its on oled display just very delayed.

PlayStation Studios has quietly updated its official website, removing nearly all references to PC from the descriptions of its internal and support studios. Only Nixxes Software, Sony's dedicated PC porting team, still mentions the PC platform.

Isn't that the whole point of the whole project anyways to document all games that used GOAL and decompile them? Anyway congrats on getting the trilogy done

@acarver_53 @thegamersjoint Nope completely different engines, would need there own teams for decompiling them and unlikely at this point. Best you can hope for is emulation for a long time.

@XtremeGryf @thegamersjoint Considering the amount of work left for the trilogy is just bug fixing and other Launcher features for Jak 2 and 3 mainly now, I think it would be a bit of a shame to stop at Jak 3 and be done with the project. Why not look at Jak X and add online multiplayer support to this?

@XtremeGryf @thegamersjoint Its actually the same engine as Jak 1-3 but OpenGOAL is currently unsure decompiling it. As part of documenting all games that used GOAL, they absolutely should decompile it as it is the last game built in this codebase (although the PS3 version of Last of Us used GOAL scripting)

@TripleFuture37 @PheoPrime @MintBlitz with remakes is the devs don't always have access to the original source code or it is lost or hard to work with, so they have to remake them from scratch and in those cases there is going to be changes whether we like it or not, remaking a game 1:1 nowadays is more mind-numbing.

It seems like people are much more happier with just a port of the original game with new things added to it, but the main issue..
