Drone warfare has reached such a level that many fighters have lost hope of escaping or resisting. For example, the final strike on the barracks is terrifying.

It’s now well established that you can build muscle while losing fat at the same time. We see this fairly often in research coming out of my lab. What’s less appreciated is that your ability to recomp depends on a few key factors. Body fat levels are a biggie. If you’re overweight, the process tends to be easier—and the more overweight you are, the greater your potential to recomp. On the flip side, as you get leaner, it becomes progressively harder to pull off. For example, we ran a case study on a competitive natural bodybuilder who was able to make small gains at around ~10% body fat, but once he got into the lower single digits, he actually lost an appreciable amount of muscle (PMID: 33105363). Training status matters too. If you’re new to lifting—or even more so if you trained before and took some time off—you’re further from your genetic ceiling, which makes it easier to gain muscle relatively quickly. But the more advanced you become, the closer you get to that ceiling, and the harder it is to keep adding size without increasing calories. Then there’s anabolics. Those who are chemically enhanced will more readily build muscle while losing fat (and this will be driven both by dosage and the types of substances taken). Natties don’t have that advantage, so recomp is generally more limited and tougher to achieve

@not5for48 @amuse @pepel_klaasa US companies literally sold weapons to the Nazis throughout the war, the US government only got involved after pearl harbour. However American involvement definitely saved a lot of bloodshed from a protracted war. if only all our leaders were as brave as our troops.

The United States is holding up virtually all weapons deliveries purchased by EU countries. It is not like we’re completely defenseless here, but it’s obvious that if Russia attacks within the next year or two, we can’t rely not only on U.S. assistance – but even on weapons supplies. For Estonia, this is especially critical. news.err.ee/1610000377/est…

@kotorinoogisan @BenGrahamUK I still don’t think it’s efficient use of money, if they spent 10% of that on conservation and went ahead as normal surely that would be better. You could build a massive Bat sanctuary for even £1,000,000

Good morning Japan 🇯🇵 In the UK 🇬🇧 our flagship high speed rail project HS2 has spent £95 million (¥20.38 billion) on a single bat tunnel, a 900 metre structure designed to protect a rare species of bat. That’s just one example of how major infrastructure here can get tied up in environmental mitigation, planning complexity, and spiralling costs. So I’m curious, does the same happen in Japan? do major projects get slowed down by environmental concerns and regulatory processes? Because from the outside looking in, Japan seems to build faster and more efficiently but is that actually true?

🚨 LMAO! President Trump is CLOWNING on NATO for calling him offering to help AFTER he had already opened the Strait of Hormuz "I told them I would have liked your help TWO MONTHS AGO, but now I really don't want your help anymore! Because they were absolutely USELESS when we needed them But actually we never needed them. They needed US! They need US. They need us so badly. We spend close to $1 TRILLION over a couple years to help them." TIME TO PULL OUT OF NATO!

Everyone is hating on Trump for Iran, just like they did Greenland (where he got free mineral rights just by making the EU panic) But honest question, what has Trump done that did not work out since being the president? In the moment he seems crazy and gets all the hate.. But he seems to rarely miss in the long run?

25 years ago, the US and Germany had similar labor productivity. Germany was a global industrial powerhouse. Then Germany followed the left-green path of overregulation, bureaucracy, energy madness and redistribution, and became the sick man of Europe. Don’t be like Germany.

This is really funny 🤣 EU leaders gathered in Paris to discuss the Strait of Hormuz, its blockade and how to reopen it. Unknown to them, Iran had already surrendered the Strait to Trump and declared it open. EU leaders were still in the meeting issuing statements and affirmation, when the news reached them that the Strait of Hormuz has been opened. This is just a typical example of people being irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. And Trump just called them useless. 🤣 It is really unfortunate that Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait were better allies to the US than the UK and France.

The amount of jealousy Europeans have for America is insane. It may be shielded in Euro-Confidence and arrogance, but the United States has overtaken Europe in just about everything. Europeans are like the girl in school who is jealous of the girl who became prettier than them over the summer. I honestly can't take Europeans seriously who have this ingrained "AMERICA BAD AMERICANS FAT" mindset that so many here have.. And I say this as a European. Either compete with America, or Europe will lose. They are overtaking us in everything.. Including food. We are downgrading every day. You think just because we have a history of fashion and football we will still be ahead in 25-30 years??

🚨 LMAO! Some European leaders have reportedly begun drawing up "NATO WITHOUT AMERICA" plans President Trump has made them PANICKED they might not get a free ride anymore 🤣 The "European NATO" would supplement US military assets with European ones, per WSJ Can you believe it's THAT hard for them to just let America use our bases and NATO airspace whenever we want, to do a favor for the world? NATO SecGen Mark Rutte even admitted: "If anyone thinks here that the European Union or Europe can defend itself without the US, KEEP ON DREAMING! YOU CAN'T! We can't!" "Europe — if you REALLY want to go it alone, and those of you who are planning for that, FORGET that you can ever get there with 5% [GDP for defense spending]. It will be 10%! You have to build up your own nuclear capability!" "That costs billions and billions of euros. You will lose them. In that scenario, you would lose the ultimate guarantor of our freedom, which is the U.S. nuclear umbrella. So, hey, good luck!"

@thenovanglus @dantypo Housing is very expensive in most built up areas in Europe but it’s the same for the US so a comparison of a $1mil property in NYC or San Francisco and compare to London or Paris. The “Great Britain ranks below the 50th state” thing is something I always knew. The one thing you learn about traveling anywhere is that tourism by its nature funnels you to preferred places. You’re not going to England to walk the blue collar streets of Sheffield. You go to the state or Stonehenge. What you do learn by living in America is that even in the “lesser” neighborhoods, the people have more than most of the populated areas of European countries. My SIL is a victim of the “oh I’d love to live there” mentality. The truth is, most people would choose any suburb in America over any residential zone in 90% of Europe. It feels cool to think, “oh I live 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower!” Until you realize 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower means you live in an incredibly downtrodden neighborhood. Sure that quaint and cute $500 a night room on the Seine feels special when you travel. But that’s NOT where you’d live. There’s a reason so many try to immigrate to America despite living in in all these exotic or historic places. Simply put, America is better. The only people who don’t appreciate that are the ones who were spoiled by a life lived here.

Brits love to think they're superior to America. Here's what's ACTUALLY happening to the UK economy: -It would rank last among ALL 50 US states in GDP per capita -Its Government is raising household taxes faster than any country -It just got overtaken in stock market value by TAIWAN, a country 1/3 its size The very definiton of Europoor.
Institute of Economic Affairs@iealondon

🇬🇧 We asked Brits where the UK ranks vs US states in income per person. Average answer: 7th. Wealthier than 43 states. The reality: 51st. Dead last. Below Mississippi. Below Arkansas. Below every single US state. 🧵

This is what the United States has spent on NATO over the past 75 years. No matter how hard I tried and googled, I could not, for the life of me, get a total for ANY OTHER COUNTRY. This by the way does not include opur own military budget or any of our defense or wars. this is JUST NATO. Screw those A_HOLES.
