🚨 EXCLUSIVE
DreamStreet Pivot: From Gaming to Wealth Tech
Backed by Dream Sports (parent of Dream11), DreamStreet is entering stock & ETF trading to tap India’s underactive 225M demat accounts.
📊 Highlights
• AI advisor “Veda” for insights
• Low fees: 0.1% or ₹20 flat
• F&O & IPO features coming soon
🎯 The Play: CEO Rahul Mirchandani targets young investors, shifting focus after the 2025 real-money gaming ban hit revenues, now leveraging Dream11’s 250M users.
⚔️ Rival Watch: Competing with Zerodha and other brokers.
💡 Bottom Line: A bold pivot aiming to turn gamers into investors.

How the fuck is Dream11 still printing money in 2026? 🧐💰

Used to think this too then gained 5 kgs in 45 days. You just have to eat
Dhimahi Jain@Dhimahi11
Gaining weight is far tougher than losing weight. You can't change my opinion.

@dietcokeaftrsex I have tried Muscle blaze, optimum nutrition an the whole truth. I currently take the whole truth’s unflavoured one. It is very light, i recommend it
English

@iBhanuDahiya 25k is enough guys, you’ll get good stay, food, car. Went on Holi and at that time the stay was even higher
English

@mayurlalwani3 @drummatick No it’s not 😂, don’t about backend but AI writes terrible frontend code
English

@drummatick Interesting flip. BIs and CI pipelines are deterministic by design, that is exactly why AI struggles there. UIs are fuzzy enough that LLMs thrive.
English

AI couldn’t replace power BIs or pipeline CIs and it will replace UIs and APIs?
Naval@naval
AIs replace UIs and APIs.
English

@Sakshi50038 The thing is lakhs of people are learning the same thing but only few put in the effort. Almost every person in my class who actually worked hard landed good jobs with packages 15-20 which is good coming from a tier 3 clg
English

Indians are so obsessed with IT jobs that even after constant news about AI slowing hiring and cutting roles, people still refuse to listen.
Every year, new batches rush into computer science like nothing has changed, and then say, “skills matter bro.”
Yes, skills matter, but ignoring reality doesn’t.
Lakhs of students are learning the same thing while jobs are not growing at the same pace.
But no one wants to hear this.
Everyone just follows the crowd, does engineering, and hopes it will somehow work out.
At this point, honestly, stop advising.
Let people do what they want, and then act surprised when they end up unemployed. 😑

@Krishna_925 @Shannu290 @Priyansh_31Dec True but they were also employees at that point. I’m working in a unicorn right now and they released list of employees with highest earnings after IPO. So i’m aware of a number of employees who earned a lot. Take risks if you want but don’t call other people talentless
English

@Finnacular @Shannu290 @Priyansh_31Dec Post by Priyansh was regarding Big Tech & my subsequent answers were regarding that. In startups also usually only top executives make the millions when company goes for IPO, ordinary employees don't get much. Not every startup is Nvidia where every old employee made millions.
English

After you work in Big tech for a long time, a major portion of your networth gets tied to RSUs and the company's performance.
It is all great as long as the company performs well (or at least the world thinks the company is performing well).
I have seen cases where the stock price of some companies has gone down by 20% within a year, and it would be incredibly demotivating to be in that situation when your networth shrinks by multiple lakhs or a few crores in a few weeks or months.
What are some best practices here that people actually use? Is it to just sell any newly vested stocks once the RSUs start taking up a major % of your portfolio?
English

@Finnacular God knows
and this is the second time for her interning at FAANG btw
English

Story time:
Two girls from my college just landed summer internships at FAANG. Good for them.
Girl 1 broke up with her boyfriend back in January.
Her logic?
“I’ll definitely find someone better at FAANG.”
Girl 2 had a different strategy.
“I can’t break up with XYZ before placement, but I’ll just go there and say I’m single.”
Now here’s the part I still can’t process.
The second girl, has struggled with coding. Hasn't used Github. Hasnt made legit projects. She "took help" from guys. (And is planning on doing the same thing over there)
And somehow… she still made it to FAANG.
Both of them did.
At this point, I’m not even questioning them.
I’m questioning how any of this works anymore.
Might delete this later. This is way too scandalous a story, even for me.

@hijunedkhatri @zomato @letsblinkit Honestly whenever i think of shifting to Gurgaon i always think of getting employed by Zomato and so do many other people i know even though the culture is toxic. I haven’t really done much research on other companies and it’s known to pay very well
English

Hiring AI engineers in Gurgaon is challenging,
Good candidates who are based in Gurgaon are already with with @zomato @letsblinkit and few good orgs.
Candidates from Mumbai or BLR don't really wanna leave their current city and move to Gurgaon.
How would you deal with this situation?
English

@Krishna_925 @Shannu290 @Priyansh_31Dec Have you actually met someone who has been an employee of a startup for years and that startup went public ?
English

@Shannu290 @Priyansh_31Dec Because it's obvious that to increase ur probability of being filthy rich, u have to become a founder, employees don't make it to Forbes list. Why would bright people settle for giving their lives for lesser net worth?
