@reversibletruth @ShaneOnChain Borrow lending hold a LOT of money for a chain, and if the code isn't audited, we would lose everyone their money in a drain of some sort. Releasing a borrow lend on a chain like this without an audit is a massive risk to users in which we are not willing to take

Let's figure out where we went wrong so that the future of ICP can be better. Finny started in June 2022 and by about September, the code was complete. When we started Finny, there were no auditing firms, and Dfinity would not audit us. Perfect! We saw an opportunity to:

@FinnyICP Community infra is the key here. If you want new users into an ecosystem, you need to not have a competing foundation on every application niche on the app layer. If they manage to pivot (meaning stop building apps), devs may be willing to come in and fix some of the issues.

@BrokeBoiCapital @dfinity We get audited by them every other month on our balance sheet. The beacon fund went into us, made up of @dfinity @polychaincap and @a16zcrypto. If we were misusing funds, we would have been shut down and reprimanded a long time ago.
