Looking like Lee Cattermole is the next #HUFC manager and the first appointment under Landon Smith. Despite not being my first choice, I hope he’s given the time and patience by the fans and the board.

If true, I feel for Nicky Featherstone. Two coaches who are both inexperienced, but Feaths now has minor experience at the level - doing alright with a limited squad. Academy coaches can work, as seen with Skubala at Lincoln, but it certainly doesn’t inspire. #HUFC

@BBCTeesSport I would have liked to be Pools Manager, but it doesn't mean I should be. He has failed in his 'audition' for the role, he has come across as uninspiring and the football has been awful to watch.

@StellingRobbie His time is up in my opinion, surely he cannot be trusted if our owner decided to invest money in the team, we will end up with it being more of an old boys club than it is now. Get rid of the backroom staff and the majority of the players and start again with a Manager!!

A bad night for everyone connected to the club, but in particular for Nicky Featherstone. I still believe it shouldn't undermine much of the good work he's done during his time in charge so far, but this will surely be his biggest challenge yet.

@Nick_Loughlin_ Surely you do not think he should be in charge of any investment money coming in before next season.. we will end up with more of his 'mates'. Except 1 or 2 a total rebuild is needed, clear the decks and get a proper manager in.

Pools are a mid table non league team now. The challenge is to compete for promotion and the squad needs stability and strength (short term loans galore are pointless as proved) - let Featherstone build his own team for next season. Haven’t Pools had enough managers of late ….

Don’t get this refund the fans lark at all. Pools lost and lost very badly - been there before plenty of times - but now people want their £20 back? Really. There’s more important issues at the club after so many years of failure - sweeping changes needed on and off the pitch.
