@TheVillaTrinity @johntownley11 By a country mile our best player in the last couple of seasons. He’s a player who always gives it a 110% and thrives off of fan energy. Almost flawless defensively, however he’s not capable of passing the ball forward like Youri Tielemans was. All in all, a great deal for youse.

@molineuxmusings Honestly my main concern about keeping Gomes is how many potential transfers were/are dependent on that revenue. If we can afford both him and our targets then I say keep him on board HMS Piss The League.

If Joao Gomes doesn’t end up moving on because of our asking price, there will still be Wolves fans that think it’s a problem because he and Andre ‘can’t play together’. Would quite simply be the best midfield pairing the Championship’s ever seen.
