Shia did an interview a while back, saying Mia had re-entered his life the last time he was in rehab. She was the only one to visit him, and that is how they got back together. I have a lot of empathy for Mia because I know she hoped he would remain sober, and that was probably why she agreed to get back with him in the first place. It's hard to love an addict, especially if they do not want to seek help. I can't imagine the added stress of having a child who is still very young and will, unfortunately, be affected by this. For their daughter's sake, I do hope Shia gets help so he can be the father his child deserves. However, I hope Mia does not give their relationship another chance even if he gets sober. Sometimes you have to accept you have done all you can to help someone, and you need to walk away. She deserves happiness and peace, as does her daughter. Addiction is a disease, and you can't force someone to get help, no matter how much you love them. For everyone's sake, I hope Shia realizes the impact his actions are having and gets help.
