Hello Senator Thune, Let's expose what you're really doing with "reconciliation." You announced it yesterday, eleven months after the House passed the SAVE America Act. You're not trying to pass this bill. You're trying to kill it in a way you can blame on process. Here's how we know: Reconciliation requires the Senate parliamentarian to rule that provisions are "budgetary." Citizenship verification is not budgetary. Photo ID mandates are not budgetary. The parliamentarian will gut the bill. Then you'll shrug and say "we tried." We see through you. Meanwhile, you WON'T use the tools that actually work: Rule XIX limits each senator to two speeches per legislative day. Keep the Senate in continuous session, file cloture daily, and the filibuster exhausts in ~12-20 days. You dismissed it as "complicated." Because if you tried and succeeded, you'd have to actually pass the bill. Harry Reid nuked the filibuster in 2013 when he wanted results. Mitch McConnell changed Senate rules THREE times and canceled the August recess. Chuck Schumer used reconciliation within months on a 50-50 Senate. You have 53 seats. You've changed nothing, canceled nothing, and waited eleven months. Now let's talk donors: • Goldman Sachs: $150K to you - top H-1B user • Google: $75K - lobbies against E-Verify • Meta: $72.5K - Zuckerberg's FWD[.]us pushes mass immigration • Wells Fargo: $90K - banks undocumented immigrants Same corporations sponsor Punchbowl News, where you sit for "Fly Out Days" which nobody watches except Congress staffers and K Street lobbyists who pays premium bucks for legislative intelligence. Their reporter then telegraphs to the audience the SAVE Act "will ultimately fail." Corporate money flows to you AND to the outlet that frames your inaction as inevitable. We see the loop. You called grassroots anger a "paid influencer ecosystem." YOU are the paid influencer. You take the wrong side of a 80% issue because you are indistinguishable from a K Street mouthpiece, and an ineffective one to boot who won't bend the rules to get anything passed. What we want: 1. Force a real talking filibuster. 2. Stop hiding behind process. 3. Pass the SAVE America Act. YOU will become the reason that we will have our butts kicked in midterms. Not Candace Owens, not Nick Fuentes, not anyone else. You and you alone, and all because you want to make the 200 or so viewers of Punchbowl Fly Out Days happy. You're living in a K Street information bubble, addicted to the comforts and praises of lobbyists masquerading as journalists. You mistake the steak and martini dinners you get invited to as your own constituents. You are not "moderate." The SAVE America Act has 98% support among Republicans. Name one other thing that has 98% support. You are an extreme minority who prides himself on being a calm leader, when in reality you are well in the running for the most ineffective Majority leader of all time. Prove me wrong. Do the bare modicum of effort. Not symbolic. Actual effort. Cancel the recess. Get SAVE America Act passed.

First we were told that we should approve the lottery because that money would help fix our public education system and roads. Then we were told that we should raise the sales tax from 4% to 6% because we needed that money for education and to fix the roads. Then we were told that we should approve casino gambling because that money would you guessed it go to education and fix the roads. And then we raised the gas tax and vehicle registration to fix the roads. Then we were told that we should legalize marijuana and use that revenue for education and fixing the roads. And now after all of this and the fact that our education system is one of the worst in the nation and our roads are even worse than that. Our politicians have decided to raise our gas tax even more again to fix the roads. And now they want a state income tax. ENOUGH OF THE LIES AND BULL SHIT. When the Law doesn’t apply to the lawmakers you’re being ruled. When corrupt politicians start to go to jail, we can start trusting the government again. And If you enter politics with debt and leave a multi-millionaire, you didn’t serve the people – you looted them.

My father has cancer. Stage four. The VA said maybe four months. He served three tours in Vietnam and came home to people spitting on him, calling him baby killer, telling him his service meant nothing. He never talked about the war. Never wore his medals. Never went to reunions. Just carried fifty-two years of shame for doing what his country asked him to do. Last month hospice started coming to the house and I realized I had no idea how to honor him, how to tell him his life mattered when he'd spent half a century believing it didn't. So I posted in a quilting group asking if anyone made military quilts, and a woman responded immediately. She'd found me through a shop where she runs a business making Quilts of Valor for dying veterans. She said “I'll start tonight.” She finished it in three weeks, worked around the clock because Dad's time is short. Every star is hand-stitched. Every stripe is perfectly aligned. She shipped it express and included a letter thanking him for his service, telling him that her father died alone believing nobody cared that he'd served. He cried for twenty minutes, kept touching the stars, kept saying “Someone made this for me?” I've started coordinating with other quilters now, connecting dying veterans with makers who can get quilts finished in time. Norris was 24, a Navy SEAL operating inside North Vietnam. Two U.S. pilots had been shot down. Patrol boats everywhere. Checkpoints on every river bend. Enemy soldiers hunting them day and night. Rescue planners called it impossible. Norris volunteered. He moved at night through swamps and jungle with South Vietnamese commandos. Lt. Col. Iceal Hambleton had survived 11 days alone behind enemy lines. Norris found him, hid him, and guided him through darkness to the Cua Viet River. A U.S. ship pulled them out alive. Then Norris went back. Deeper. Harder. More patrols. With Nguyen Van Kiet, he located Lt. Mark Clark and brought him out under increasing enemy pressure. Two men saved from certain capture. For that, Norris received the Medal of Honor. Six months later, October 31, 1972, his recon team was ambushed by 50 to 100 North Vietnamese soldiers. Norris was shot in the head. His skull fractured. His left eye destroyed. He collapsed and was presumed dead. One man refused to accept that. Mike Thornton ran back through gunfire, lifted Norris onto his shoulders, fought to the ocean, and swam 2 hours under fire until a U.S. ship reached them. Norris survived. Metal plate in his skull. Lost eye. Years of recovery. The only time 1 Medal of Honor recipient saved another. Most people still have no idea who Thomas Norris is.

A 3-year-old little girl is dead. Alexander Lamar Banks Jr. was arrested after police say he intentionally ran down a White family with his car — killing their 3-year-old daughter. Authorities say he then got out with a shotgun, opened fire on the parents, and brutally attacked a 72-year-old woman who rushed in to help. The parents are hospitalized in stable condition. The elderly woman is fighting for her life. This should be national news. I’m sick of stories like this being buried. I’m tired of innocent children being treated like they don’t matter. I’m tired of families being destroyed and the story barely making a ripple. A 3-year-old is gone forever. That should matter.

I have to say something. This family is living in the nightmare all of us who speak out against the Left’s insanity, fear. My family got swatted. We can no longer get delivery orders at our home because the Left harassed us for weeks with midnight, 2AM, 4AM pay-at-door deliveries with instructions that said “bang on the door as loud as you can…” We had to put signs on our home that said, “We are being pranked, no deliveries!” We almost sold our home and moved because things got so bad. We get demonic, violent, horrific threats every day. The Left never has to deal with ANY OF THIS!!!!!!! Only the Right. And this bears repeating… I AM A BRAND-NEW CONSERVATIVE!!!!!! I did not publicly support President Trump until January 2025. We got swatted in March, Yes, you read that right. Why is it only our side that is getting attacked? Why is it that I’m scared that something bad is going to happen to me or my kids when we go to any public place? Why is it that I can’t tell people where I go to church because I’m scared my church will be targeted by violent people? Why do I have to hide so many aspects of my public life for fear of being harassed and targeted? And for the love of God… Why does it only happen to one side of the political aisle? Please open your eyes, we are at a crossroads. There’s a reason people feel emboldened to target conservatives, and that’s because they are NOT held accountable. I am so tired of being scared. The measures we have taken to protect our family since publicly coming out as conservative is so insane. We shouldn’t have to do that. No one should have to take security measures for just supporting a president who won the popular vote. But that is where we are. It has to stop. Please, make it stop.

His work, and Adam’s legacy, have directly saved lives. Today, we remember Adam Walsh — a little boy who should have had the chance to grow up — and the devastating loss that inspired a global movement to protect children.
