We were called at 8:14pm to reports of an industrial building fire in Theaklen Drive, St-Leonards-on-Sea. Crews are currently in attendance. Please avoid the area and local residents please keep windows and doors closed.

Crews forced their way into an empty house last night after the resident left cooking on the hob and went out. Thankfully a neighbour heard the smoke alarm going off and called 999. Smoke alarms are vital - they give everyone nearby warning of the first signs of fire.
