@planet4589 I read a long shot idea about another sat being able to push it in the right orbit. Assume its ridiculous & the sat is still dead/need to deorbit?

A second orbit dataset from SpaceForce for the BlueBird-7 sat shows it in a 265 x 485 km x 43.0 deg orbit, indicating that the upper stage delivered about 1000 m/s, mostly changing orbital inclination. This is about half the dV that would have been needed for the target orbit

Due to high upper-level winds projected for Friday, Alpha Flight 7 is now scheduled to launch no earlier than Saturday, February 28 with backup days on March 1 and 2. Firefly will continue to work closely with @SLDelta30 to monitor the winds ahead of the upcoming test flight.

Alpha Flight 7 is now targeting no earlier than February 27 for launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base. With severe weather in the local area this week, we're working closely with @SLDelta30 and taking an abundance of caution for this test flight as part of our focus on enhanced safety, quality, and reliability.
