Practical effects 👍 Likeable characters 👍 Killer score 👍 Glorious gore 👍 Although cheesy in parts, Cujo goes ape is proper nasty fun. Most entertaining new horror I’ve seen in a long while🤘💀

@Firstscreamto It took the lesson from Part 6 that by this point, the franchise is inherently, unavoidably silly and there is nothing wrong with letting some humor filter in with the scares and gore.

@StebobM @Firstscreamto Friday the 13th Part 8 has aged like a fine wine 🍷 or at least Mad Dog 20/20. It really has grown on me since the summer of 1989 when I didn’t like it that much.

@StebobM I know what you mean. They all have their own strengths and weaknesses, but each entry makes for a fun watch. I just find this one really entertaining.

@Firstscreamto It really is, I genuinely can watch any of the Friday the 13th’s and have fun with each film. It’s why for me F13 is my favourite horror franchise, with every other there’s at least one film I can’t stand.

Keeping that ‘80s slasher vibe alive this weekend.

Every bit as good as I had hoped, and possibly David Jonsson's best performance to date. Highly recommended.
