What's crazy to me is people can't accept that Vox is an emotionally complex character capable of being a ruthless narcissist but also capable of extreme vulnerability. Vox is an onion with many layers that are all apart of who he is and that's why I enjoy him so much.

Why is there even a debate about whether Vox was “OOC” in the bar scene. He wasn’t OOC because the creator of that OC created it. That’s the simple answer. Everything she creates is in-character for her OC. How are you guys somehow parasocial with a fictional character

@katreno101 This !! And it would make the most sense for it to be him - terrible person but likable character, well developed, sympathetic & has reasons but doesn't rlly have Excuses, is shown to have redeemable qualities, and is also directly drawn attention to as a redemption candidate lol

I think he should be redeemed because narratively speaking the shows plot would be weak if it only redeemed the obvious good guys when the whole point of the show is redemption. Give us a real challenge and have a big bad work through redemption.

The bar scene was not a mischaracterization of Vox, but he would be delighted to know that many people think it is! The ~1:30 memory is traumatic for him in large part bc he let a side of himself out that he finds weak & shameful. And then Alastor spared no mercy ⤵️
