@kevinki16180099 I cannot recall the specific source, but a recent US survey showed Costco grocery prices averaged well below those of Walmart. Though a Costco outlet is only about 3 km (and all county driving!) from our farm home, the crowds and difficult parking there turn us off, big time.

On This Day Tim Horton died. I can talk forever about this subject, seeing the car in a gas station lot prior to the game, my handprints were all over it, taking a “happy” photo of Punch & Doddo in warmup, to touching Tim as he entered the Dressing Room. Tragic… 💙7 😇🙏

Think back to when you were 20 years old and you wanted to farm.... land never made sense just buy it...... a 20 year old will sign a 50 year mortgage or even a 75 year mortgage. Wake up at 50 paying mostly interest their whole life. That will be 10x as bad as it is now.

@CousineauAlbert Ground source geothermal. 74 and 70 respectively.

In the winter we keep the temperature around 74°. We burn wood. It's easy to have it toasty warm. During the night we don't 'feed' the fire. So in the morning it's between 68° and 70°.
