@TheAndyCortez I think once a game is 7 or above then the score can be interchangeable depending on who is playing it. So many games land in the 80's on metacritic because it scored 7,8,9 and 10s. Someone's 7 could easily be someone else's 9.

Too many people think this is like grade school where a 69 and below is a failing grade. 5 is average, 6 is fine/okay, 7 is good, 8 is great. Glad our scale is like IGNs because if a 7 was considered a BARELY passing score (a 70 or a D in school) and 0 to 6.5 meant a failing grade, that's way too much real estate on the scale to grade a bad game. I don't need that many levels to let you know how badly a game is failing. I prefer to have more space on the scale to describe a game I genuinely recommend or enjoy.

@ironXclawGaming Timed exclusive maybe but literally 0% it's not ending up on Playstation.

@FishNCripps111 @klobrille Marvels Spiderman sold 50 million! Someone in this thread I think said their friend got a PS4 just for Spiderman, now that friend is totally locked in and not turning back. Over 30 million played Halo Infinite on Xbox Series consoles, that's almost the entire console base.

@klobrille Do you think the gamers that play CoD, Fortnite, Sports games etc. are filling out a Circana survey? Those gamers make up the majority of gamers on Sony and Xbox.

@shapeformer @klobrille If exclusives drive console sales then why isn't there a bigger attach rate to exclusive games. Yotei sold to 5% of the PS5 player base. The best attac rate there is, is Spiderman which is close to 20%. Gamers on PS5 are playing CoD, Fortnite etc. and not doing a circana survey
