In case you missed it, we celebrated the opening of the 96th Street Bridge along the Nickel Plate Trail, Strengthened by @IU_Health last week! This new bridge and 1.3-mile extension mark a major step forward for the 16.82-mile trail connecting Noblesville to Indianapolis. Thanks to a $4.5 million grant from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (@indnrnews), the project strengthens regional connectivity and expands access to safe, active transportation. With warmer days ahead, it’s the perfect time to get out and experience this newest stretch of the trail!

🎉 The Nickel Plate Trail 96th Street Bridge Now Open 🎉 Today, state and local leaders gathered to celebrate the opening of the 96th Street bridge along the Nickel Plate Trail, Strengthened by @IU_Health, marking a major milestone in the expansion of the 16.82-mile Nickel Plate Trail connecting Noblesville to Indianapolis. The new bridge and 1.3-mile trail extension were made possible through a $4.5 million grant from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (@INdnrnews), strengthening regional connectivity and expanding access to safe, active transportation options.
