@jpcoolican @maxnesterak If he refused he would lose his permit and be subject to a $500 civil penalty. If he tested over the legal limit, he’d also lose his permit and be subject to a criminal charge. This won’t be a good look for the WBLPD if they screwed this up.

The current leading DFL candidate to replace her, State Rep Dan Wolgamott, has had two DWIs and was still named "Minnesota Police and Peace Officer Association's Legislator of the Year." When I first met Republican State Auditor candidate Nate George at a forum in Albert Lea last fall, I asked him, "Based on the history of our current State Auditor, Julie "White Claw" Blaha, and her replacement, Boozin Dan Walgamott, how many DWIs do you have, and do you think it's enough to be a qualified State auditor?" 🧐 Nate George said he has had NONE. That's a good answer. Plus, he can count. Don't drink and drive. If you drink and need a ride, call a friend, call an Uber, or call your mom.
