I have a hard time believing the USA is OK with Iran controlling the Strait of Hormuz. They are holding international waters hostage, again. Iran also wants reparations and a uranium enrichment program, which the USA has been opposed to since day one. Something is off.

🚨Breaking: Iran statement about the ceasefire, Summary of the Statement from Iran’s Supreme National Security Council on the 2-Week Ceasefire and Negotiation Terms 1. U.S.-Accepted 10-Point Framework (Iran’s Core Conditions) According to the statement, the United States has agreed to the following key terms: A formal guarantee of non-aggression toward Iran Continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz Recognition of Iran’s uranium enrichment program Removal of all primary and secondary sanctions Termination of all United Nations Security Council resolutions targeting Iran Cancellation of all IAEA Board of Governors resolutions against Iran Payment of war-related damages (reparations) to Iran Withdrawal of all U.S. combat forces from the region An end to hostilities on all fronts, including conflicts involving allied groups in Lebanon Full acceptance of these terms as part of a comprehensive agreement 2. Ceasefire Terms A temporary ceasefire lasting two weeks has been established Negotiations are set to begin on Friday, April 21, in Islamabad The initial negotiation window is two weeks Any extension will require mutual consent from both sides 3. Iran’s Position and Red Lines Negotiations will proceed with deep skepticism toward the United States Iran emphasizes national unity and will continue to frame the situation as a victory Diplomacy is described as a continuation of military pressure, not a replacement for it All political factions and public voices are expected to support the process and avoid internal division Talks are being conducted under direct oversight of top Iranian leadership Iran maintains full military readiness and warns that any violation will trigger a strong response If negotiations fail to produce a decisive outcome reflecting Iran’s demands, military operations will resume until those demands are achieved

Iran has a been a threat to the world for 47 years. So we gave them complete control of the Strait of Hormuz and a new revenue stream in tolling it

@TRM81611 No, he said they are discussing it, but why would Iran agree to that? And why would we let Iran make hundreds of millions of dollars per day controlling an international water?

I'm a little disappointed, not gonna lie. I was hoping to see the terrorist regime of Iran fall to their knees. Not become rich collecting oil fees and get sanction relief. Anyone else feel similarly?

Ceasefire day 1: Israel took multiple waves of Iranian missile fire after the ceasefire was announced. Kuwait reports that more than two dozens drones were launched by Iran since 8am. UAE is currently under an Iranian missile attack. Iran, via state media, reports strikes against Lavan Island and the oil infrastructure there.

Before Trump’s war the Strait of Hormuz was open, sanctions were in place, and gas was $2.39. Now Iran controls the Strait, sanctions will be lifted, gas is $4.99, 13 Americans are dead, over 300 injured, and the loss of hundreds of billions in aircraft and U.S. base repairs.

@LibertyCappy Some of those things will take years to accomplish and to expect it done within two is just ridiculous. Also many of those things are going to require Congress to act so good luck with that.

If Iran is able to charge $2 million per tanker, they're gonna make $280 million a day. That's $500 billion in five years. For comparison, the Obama administration gave Iran $1.7 billion in cash. Not great, guys.

@TRHLofficial It was intentionally worded this way to get a reaction from the Iranian regime. People here, acting dumb like they don’t know how a lot of Trump hyperbole works.

Can we all at least agree that “a whole civilization will die tonight” was far too broad a choice in words, and maybe “a whole regime” would have fit his intention better, or are we too deep into doublethink.
