@rnrin003 @NoFaceDelilah I was mainly annoyed at the "they may even get annoyed if you try to discuss interesting parallels or subtext with them" feels like its saying normal people are too stupid to understand what their watching because they don't read fanfic
English

@Fishteeth8 @NoFaceDelilah guess what buddy its still reading words and nice and big words at that so fanfic DOES increase literacy rates
English

@NoFaceDelilah @rnrin003 Why do fandomites always treat normal people like mindless cavemen. I don't think reading Harry potter fanfic gives people some kind of third eye for media literacy
English

@rnrin003 from what i’ve observed they just accept canon as it is and don’t really even think about it once they are finished. “that show was great 😊 well on to the next” and that’s it for them. they may even get annoyed if you try to discuss interesting parallels or subtext with them.

@spidermangayasl @J0RVER @nick_of_time_49 @Merzwoke was this the episode where moe becomes friends with smithers because everyone thinks they’re dating and then they make out full tongue full force stars in their eyes on the centre stage and they’re huffing and puffing and sweat drips down their respective foreheads

The Russian movement that worships Gadget Hackwrench from Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers is known as Gaykoslavie (or the Cult of the Radiant Gadget).
It is not a separate country, but rather a fringe, online-based cult that originated in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod around 2009–2010.
Key Details of the Cult: The Deity: Followers, or "gadgetologists," view the cartoon mouse as a goddess, describing her as the "Radiant Gadget".Beliefs: They view her as a perfect being—technical, optimistic, and cute—who embodies a "divine optimism".
Activities: The group has been reported to hold meetups, celebrate her birthday on March 15th, and spread their beliefs online.Context: It is widely considered an ironic or "meme" religion, a blend of internet culture and serious, niche fanaticism, often compared to Scientology (or "Gadgetology").
