@Jennstallion @lydiakauppi Big fan of collagen. Also, the GHK-cu peptide face creams are clinically and anecdotally supported for that, highly recommend. I also inject it daily, and use Red Light Therapy. I'll be doing a bulk cycle next winter, after continuing to cut through summer (targeting sub-10% bf)

@Fitnessopher @lydiakauppi Yah I didn’t have muscle at 165. I lost a lot of it. Which is also why I looked pretty sickly. There are factors - which is also why BMI is trash imo. more of a scale to help get to fitness goals and shouldn’t be a tell all.. I take a Collagen mix currently to help with my skin

I lost 75lbs on Zepbound, and it’s true people really don’t talk about the side effects. For instance, now when I bring up a health concern, my doctor orders tests

@PonyBoy_XY @lydiakauppi Just ran it by Grok, thanks to your suggestion, and basically the objection doesn't hold up for several reasons, mostly scale of doses to complaints, suit outcomes yet undetermined, committing a Nirvana fallacy, et al. Anyways, you don't have to drink, just sayin' there's water.

@PonyBoy_XY @TropheeWyfe @lydiakauppi I'm 6'2" and used to keep a "fighting weight" of around 200-210 lbs, with a hint of abs peeking through, via strict diet/exercise. Lowest I got naturally was 187. With Reta I'm now at 170, looking slim and amazing. That's why I'm eager to share the benefits of the peptide!

@Jennstallion @lydiakauppi As I tell my male friends when we discuss this matter, it's easy to convince yourself that you're an Arnold (competed at 6'2" 225 lbs) when you're actually a skinny-fat fashion model with illusory "muscles" (I would know, lol). The good thing is that w/ peptides you can choose.

@Fitnessopher @lydiakauppi I am bottom heavy. I have boarder shoulders a small chest with a smaller waist. Wide rib cage. Like I don’t really look 190. But I am 190. I am a size 8. That’s not really fat LOL. But BMI says overweight. Ya see what I mean?

@Jennstallion @lydiakauppi Well, I hope you continue your journey towards great health and a satisfying look. I can't wait for peptides to become mainstream and all of humanity can enjoy the benefits without fearing shame of "weakness".

@Fitnessopher @lydiakauppi BMI standards I am overweight. I don’t sugar coat that part. My BMI is 28 I think. Idk. But bodys are not all the same and I think BMI is a scale to be helpful but also trash. My body at BMI 28 is not someone else’s body at that.

@Markyampolski @lydiakauppi I lost 120 lbs over 30 years ago and kept if off ever since with diet and exercise protocols, I'm well aware that one can dig great holes with just one's hands. I'm just not so proud that I can't admit that the shovel is way better, especially for people not so good at digging.

@lydiakauppi @Jennstallion Congrats on y'all's success so far, truly. I just hate to see people stop halfway, justifying it on social considerations and denying the health (and even social) benefits left on the table. You put "slightly overweight" in quotes for a reason... just slinging truths over here.

@lydiakauppi I’m at the highest dose of Mounjoro and it does nothing. I have slightly less joint pain and no appetite but no weight loss either. Still morbidly obese while eating way less than 1000 calories a day. My cholesterol/blood sugar is great though and no other health problems 🤷‍♀️

@Jennstallion @lydiakauppi Because you're still fat, though. Get down to a healthy bodyfat instead of just "better than disastrous" and you'll be shocked by your health improvements (your doctor won't be, though).

@lydiakauppi Now that I am only “slightly overweight” (I’m 190 at 5”11) they actually listen to me when I say things don’t seem right. It’s CRAZY that I have the same symptoms I had 150 lbs ago.

@shayleerob @lydiakauppi Yeah, l'm sure you live like it's the 1800's & don't take advantage of any tech advances, right? It's "lazy" to drive instead of walk, use a dishwashing machine, turn on the AC instead of sweating like a waterfall, read on your phone instead of books from the library, etc.

@kar_nels @lydiakauppi But your food spend will drop by even more, so you come out ahead, even paying those absurd prices (which you don't have to, if you do just a smidgen of research and demonstrate a smidgen of gumption).

@PonyBoy_XY @GWSP12 @lydiakauppi You'll find that even maintaining your modest success will be very difficult, and getting into actual 12-15% bodyfat will be likely impossible for you with this approach. Just get the peptide already, it doesn't mean you're weak, any more than using shovels instead of your hands.

@GWSP12 @lydiakauppi It took me 9 months. 245 lbs down to 185lbs. I did have a month or 2 in between with little to no weight loss. I was stuck around 200 lbs for what seemed like forever. I also started lifting weights 3x/week.

@PonyBoy_XY @TropheeWyfe @lydiakauppi I'm the same age, and honestly, you'd look way younger if you lost the graying beard, got a decent hairstyle, and cut some more bodyfat to bring those cheekbones in. If you care about such things, anyway (wink wink, we all care but have to pretend that some people don't, right?)

@Markyampolski @lydiakauppi Just because you dig a (poor) hole with your hands doesn't make is sensible to advise others to avoid making deeper, better-constructed holes with shovels. You also went from terrible shape to just bad shape, to go the rest of the way, a peptide would be very helpful.

@lydiakauppi I lost 165 lb without any drugs or surgery. It took about 2 years and I am at normal weight since then (3.5 years since I started healthy style) . Was 365 now 200 lb. And I am 63 yo.

@lydiakauppi @emiweelee The data says it's impossible. I don't understand why we need to dream about impossibilities that will "protect" us from a 30 second once-per-week task. Everyone who does it is shocked by how simple and painless jabbing is, fears of that are highly overblown (ridiculous, really).

@emiweelee on whether it’s possible to reverse metabolic set points through sustained significant weight loss because only 5% of people are able to accomplish it, and it’s still an emerging science. I think it’s possible we could find permanent changes occur that
