whoever's accountable for one of the largest transit systems in the world's wealthiest, most powerful nation is doing an embarrassingly bad job

Don’t worry—he’ll bring it to us because everyone wants to be part of the MA economy. Thanks to Secretary Monica Tibbits-Nutt for pushing MA to think differently. We’re all freeloading when we drive and it’s time we own up to it. hks.harvard.edu/faculty-resear…

It’s very clear that all those at @mbta who plan the closures, shuttles, signage DO NOT RIDE the system. Never clear info, bad way finding, not thought out (ie can’t load cards since stations are closed but buses aren’t free), especially when buses will no longer take cash

Red Line Update: Shuttle buses continue to accommodate riders between Harvard and Park St while Power Department continues to inspect the affected area from earlier Fire Department activity at Kendall/MIT.

Can someone please explain what is happening here? Seven jerky stops (started filming after 2nd one) in quick succession for no apparent reason.

The joys of the morning Red Line commute. 15 minute wait, than train out of service. @universalhub @lolMBTA @transitmatters
