The game isn't long and the world isn't massive. I say give it a shot. Might not be as annoying as you think.

I think moves that are references can work the problem is that there's so many little parts that modders kind of "miss" that Sakurai made like a bunch of videos explaining the secret sauce of his work

Thread full of people saying stuff like "stamina" or "inventory limits." It's also very frustrating when you need to move your rook diagonally in chess but he's only allowed to move in straight lines.

That trend about not playing emulated games is the most unrelatable thing I ever did see.

@Huntartist @MobileSuitRocc People do describe the problems though. Bad frame rate. Stutters. Resolution issues. The problem is we don't know WHAT's causing it because we can't access the source code, so how do we actually offer help? We can't just say "use this technology" like we can say "salt the fish."

@Flabitorv @MobileSuitRocc But that's not what's happening. People are flooding steam reviews and leaving comments saying "they need to optimize the game". It means nothing without explaining what they experienced that made them feel that way.

@Huntartist @MobileSuitRocc The problem with that analogy is that you can taste and/or see if a fish is poorly prepared. Optimization issues can stem from dozens of things, be it on the surface like bad LOD models, or backend code running unnecessary processes that are completely invisible to the player.

Just saying "this game isn't optimized" but offering no solutions for how to optimize doesnt help.
Ex:
"This fish is poorly prepared."
Or
"This fish needs salt and more time in the pan."
One is criticism, one is complaining.

But Apexes are still in Sunbreak and very relevant because you can get them as targets in Anomaly Investigations. They weren't replaced, but repurposed as late game anomaly challenges.

Wilds has a lot of mechanics that just need to be expanded, there's no reason to replace them, just actually polish the foundations u already have
