Those two stations are right across the CA-AZ border along the Colorado River (near Needles, CA). California's gas tax is ~71¢/gallon vs Arizona's ~19¢/gallon. On top of that, CA requires a unique, costlier reformulated fuel blend (CARB gas) plus cap-and-trade and low-carbon fuel standards that add 40-50¢+ per gallon. Arizona doesn't. That's why prices jump dramatically at the state line even though the stations are neighbors.

We caught Rise and Resist organizers shoving pre made signs into bags at an Anti Trump demonstration in front of Trump Tower in New York City. The organizers seemed to micro manage every facet of the demonstration. They ordered the demonstrators not to speak to us, they told the demonstrators what to chant, and they even collected the brand new signs once the rally ended. It was also interesting how at 1pm the protesters immediately left. They didn’t hang around or talk to press. They just left, almost like they were off the clock. Do you think these protests happen organically or are they simply funded by billionaires?
