For those who WANT the #Flames to lose and pick #1 overall, I've already said drafting in the top 5 doesn't guarantee a contender, while most of the elite NHLers were drafted after 16th, as low as 171st (Datsyuk), 210th (Zetterberg), 258th (Rinne) etc. Those just name a bare few

Morning update: It was in fact the pilot and co-pilot confirmed as the two fatalities.

🚨#BREAKING: At this time, at least 70 people have been injured following a collision involving a plane and a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport in New York. Officials at the on-site have confirmed that two individuals have been pronounced dead at the scene.

@Matt41155 @rawsalerts Pilots reported alive. The 2 fatalities are reportedly first responders who were in the fire truck. The 5 critically injured are reportedly 5 more first responders who were also in the truck...

@DivyDex @kpac_15 The USA certainly isn't on its way to authoritarianism - that is TDS thinking. Not saying you're exhibiting it, but what you're presenting shows a blindness towards some of the things happening in this country right now.

@FlamesForums @kpac_15 Do you think so? I see it in the U.S.A forsure and in parts of Europe. But I find that our conservative party is healthy vs the rest of the world right wing rise. You won't like this, for me I think Canada is the leader of the free world right now.

@DivyDex @kpac_15 Canada needs US more than WE need Canada. Separation would NOT mean annexation. And most separatists are against this "51st State" crap anyway. It would be a long process, a long journey. But in the long run Alberta would actually be a successful country, among the richest.

@FlamesForums @kpac_15 I don't like the idea because I can't see it working. Like to me it feels like we would just be annex by the U.S.A at that point. Alberta is important to Canada and Canada is important to Alberta. Atleast it is for me. We're honorable country to be proud of, despite the missteps
