As a priest he's certainly a good listener and would be nice to have around.

He was the brother of a priest and grew into one himself. In a small town. While burdened with the regret over not going with his friend. Again being single means any relationship didn't work out.

@FrozenBubble69 I think even in that context it was still a waste. But that was superhero movies of the time. They didn't see the value of keeping an antagonist around.
Kill them and grab the next guy out of the source material.

Because every movie was a self contained story. He wasn't trying to build a universe or anything like that.

@AeonCrowley I'd still call them a minor group. Especially globally where said 3rd main character hasn't been that important.
Especially for a show like this...where he doesn't appear to have joined that group yet. So within the context of this show they are a very minor group.

I think there is a bigger gap between the eastern audience for ITEM and the western audience than ever, hope I'm eventually proved wrong

@theDerickSnow Outside of anyone who just doesn't like the show...there should be no issue here.
The original series was great...but we lost out on so much once it veered off and went anime-only! A proper and epic remake would be fantastic.

But they did drop 6 waaaaaay back in Camelot.
