@SolRidley Complete honesty, I think floorhug detracts from the game. Because it feels very unintuitive to get punished for hitting a non-shielding non-invincible opponent when you use a low lag move
This game sacrifices so much freedom of movement in service of the locked down FH minigame

as someone who came from games without floorhugging, i've never really understood the complaints and difficulties people have with it. yeah it sometimes limits what you can do in neutral/advantage, but there are always limits. you can't fsmash whenever you want in neutral either

we are really complaining about floor hugging in the big 2026 still huh genuinely don't understand why people feel the need to do this, if you don't like the game please just stop playing and do something else with your time :)
