For those that think these two just talking in a moment. One of my favorite YouTubers covered these exact same convo a month ago and their accounts matches his research @FlemLoRaps

The NFL Playoffs Used to be Worse Than You Think youtu.be/x5dHKRWJggk?si… via @YouTube
Informative masterpiece, thank you @FlemLoRaps

@PGar500 Them not putting the game away earlier is not really relevant. The game's 4 quarters. Why shouldn't they have the full length of the game to secure a victory? If a boxer gets cheated on the scorecards after not securing an early knockout, it doesn't justify the robbery.
English

@PGar500 Thanks, bro! Glad you enjoyed the vid. My response: First off, the scoreboard can absolutely lie as it can be manipulated. Sure, every team has an amount of bad luck, but certain teams (at certain times) get a helping hand overcoming that bad luck, via human interference.
English

@FlemLoRaps Good piece on the refs this week. Re: Rams/Saints - you’re right the non DPI call in the NFC title game was bullshit, and I wanted the Saints to win so I was double pissed. With that said, the scoreboard never lies. Every team has an amount of shit luck that happens, it’s those who can overcome it the best that win the game. Plus I’d ask why didn’t the Saints put it away sooner than that? Anyway, peace out. #WhoDey

@isaiahholgeen @FlemLoRaps The problem with this (pardon the uninentional pun) line of thinking that people fall into is that as long as nothing bad is your fault, nothing good can then also be your fault.

Strap in, this is a long one.
I hadn’t followed the Michigan coach scandal at all. I heard the headline, assumed it was “coach gets fired for sleeping with someone he shouldn’t have” I shrugged, and kept moving.
Then I just finished @FlemLoRaps video on it (I highly recommend: youtu.be/oImstqH-hWw?si…), and the situation hit different.
A lot of people are framing this as lust, sex, and a man losing his job, and then losing his mind over it, to the point he committed a crime. But from my own experience, purely sexual relationships don’t drive a man to that level of emotional collapse. Sex alone doesn’t do that.
What does? Emotional attachment. The realization that you not only lost your job & family, you’re losing someone you genuinely care about. In his head he was probably more emotionally connected to the mistress than he was his wife. I am not saying that’s right or good, I am just telling you how my mind is interpreting this situation.
I do not agree with how he handled himself, at all. Accountability matters. But I also don’t think this was just a horny guy spiraling because he got caught. This looks like a man lashing out because he knew the relationship, the connection with another human he cared about was over.
And that’s where Flem’s point really landed for me.
Lust can be poison for men, not because sex is evil, but because unchecked desire clouds judgment, blurs boundaries, and convinces you that temporary feelings are permanent truths. When emotions, ego, and attachment mix with secrecy, things get dangerous fast.
I am not a perfect human. I’m publicly very sexual. I flirt. I joke. I entertain. But there’s a difference between desire for the flesh and emotional dependence on another human being. When those lines blur, that’s where men lose themselves and go crazy. I know this because I have seen me do it multiple times in my 40 years on this earth.
If you find yourself in situations driven by lust, romance, emotional connection or obsession, that’s exactly when you need God’s wisdom in your life. Not after things explode, but before. To slow you down. To ground you. To remind you who you are. Before you do and say things you normally wouldn’t unless you were blinded by emotion.
This story honestly leaves me torn between my understanding of human desire and respecting the moral compass we’re supposed to carry as men and as a society.
And I think that tension is the real display of the duality of man. I have no clue what the point of this tweet was, I just wanted to get my thoughts out. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk. 😆

@FlemLoRaps Hey your recent video about Sherrone Moore had a quote in there that resonated with me. I am trying to cut porn out of my life & pursuing this one woman. And I understand what you meant when u talking about how it can poison your mind. Thanks bro. Lookin to evolve

@FlemLoRaps has a really good video about the mental aspect of QBs who go through constant injuries year in and year out like with Andrew Luck, I really wonder what's next for Joe Burrow.
Ari Meirov@MySportsUpdate
Joe Burrow’s presser today felt very reflective — and at times, a bit dark: "If I want to keep doing this, I have to have fun doing it. I have been through a lot. If it's not fun, then what am I doing it for?" Later on: "There's just a lot of things going on right now." (via @Bengals)
